Because the actor didn't want to play Iron Man anymore, and went for The Oscar. Just like Wolverine actor. Actors have this weird thing that if you continue to play a certain character for years, you get niched down, and producers don't call you to play anything else.

And anyway after 2 days it became some what better when I realised that "k atleast I've 5 of my og team" but it'll never be same for me...
