Who could have seen alts arts being super desirable works of art on mega shiny cardboard, to the point they increased significantly in value from a year ago? People who saw the gigantic growth of collectors who fell in love or re-fell in love with Pokemon TCG cards during the Sword & Shield era. Someone like me ;).

Could you do a top 10 of the highest selling for any grading company. I am sure the BGS 10’s and Black Labels sell for more than PSA 10’s and have fewer copies.

@@callsnputs9649 because if you had the card from the 90’s then you already have 2000% profit @ 150k. On the other hand if you buy it in today’s market and decide to auction it. You’d know where to set your bottom price instead of hype affecting the same card.
Instead of drastically different prices whereas, if we all agree on the LEAST this card should be valued at, less people would get screwed and auctions would be more interesting for those who got it like that.

You can’t be serious with the population going up coinciding with the price going up.
You do realize DEMAND is what is driving the price. You can have a million copies of Psa 10 magicarp but only 500k people want it compared to 5 million copies of moonbreon Psa 10 but 10 million people want it. Get it?

People are finally realizing moder artwork is so much better than boring vintage. Some vintage is amazing but most is meh
manipulation...
So in other words don't listen to youtubers because they are none the wiser themselves! Any card over 400 is just ridiculous! In hand for that price will lose their luster and crash in price except vintage! Modern cards have far to many prints and to many people keeping copies in near perfect condition.
