I do wish the Chinese rom/china only released phones were easier to get over here and elsewhere in the west as a z fold 3 owner, Samsung is getting away with way too much because of the lack of readily available competition.

Just got my Vivo X Fold 3 - noticed Origin OS has so much customisations in settings etc. Might need a video on the best settings you use and a How-to in settings.
What about sound quality? ive heard its a bit thin and shallow compared to other foldables
I just returned my honor magic v2 because the software is so buggy… Just couldn’t take it anymore… Is this software much better?
i have the pro version and its really amazing, everything its just wow for the price, the screen, the weight, the smoothness, the battery, vivo now its the best foldable someone can buy right now

I can put 2 apps split plus 2 floating on my x fold (1). Open an app and make it small window mode and do it 2 times closing each of them and they go to the side of the screen. Then open your next 2 apps and split them. Next go to the side apps opening them and there they are, all 4 apps on the screen.

I selected X3 because it was 1100 usd, Pro version is about 400 usd more. I think X3 is best option for this price up today, and I am not sure that X3 Pro worth 400 usd more

So you rate the Global ROM V2 running the 8 Gen 2 chipset 2/5 for software because of its 2024 release even though it supports full Google - and this Chinese ROM phone gets 3/5, and also has last year's chipset?
not sure you understand what software means lol!! you are taking about hardware when you talk chipset!
The Origin OS skin and the features and user interface are better than the Magic OS skin and features... also known as software haha! do better man!
I'm well aware of the definition of software, no need for you to be so condescending! (We can compare our degrees to see who's better qualified if you like).
But your Magic V2 Software section talks about "Internals and software" when you justify your pathetic score of 2/5. So if there is confusion in review categories, it's all yours.
And your opinions on the "skin" seem to be skin deep, as you're misjudging the Global V2's capabilities (full Google support, full wired and wireless desktop mode, multi profiles and lots of security features) for some very subjective feeling about the widgets and slight differences in theming. Crazy!

Hi, I am looking at getting a fold phone but not sure what to get. I had a stroke 9 months ago and my vision has still not fully returned and have trouble seeing small print. I have a Samsung s21 and can make everything bigger but still have trouble. Am on a disability pension so money is an issue a bit. Will a fold phone make reading the screen better ? Which one has more functions for people with vision issues ? Oh and I left Australia to more to Thailand so not sure if it changes what phone I should get.
