The NBA Playoffs are finally here with the Oklahoma City Thunder, Boston Celtics, Denver Nuggets, New York Knicks, Minnesota Timberwolves, Milwaukee Bucks, Los Angeles Clippers, Cleveland Cavaliers, Dallas Mavericks, Orlando Magic, Phoenix Suns, Indiana Pacers, Los Angeles Lakers, Philadelphia 76ers, New Orleans Pelicans, and Miami Heat making up the field. It's a stacked group of teams that promises to give us one of the best NBA Playoffs we've ever seen. There's plenty of potential for upsets, insane performances, and a lot of seven game series. It's impossible to predict, but I'm gonna go ahead and give it a try all the way from the first round to the NBA Finals. Let's talk about it.

they werent gonna work. they did huge trades, they got better, people had a new opinion abt a basically brand new team
Kyrie has been on his best behavior for the past seven months. For the first time in maybe seven years.
I think it was completely fair to be skeptical if that would happen. If you are a Mavericks fan, I would put all my energy into praying that it stays that way instead of calling other people crazy.

I think this playoff run will be a big test to see if they can actually get enough stops to compete with teams that are elite on both ends. The criticism of the mavs has always been how can they manage with both of their stars being defensive liabilities? Well there’s no doubt that they upgraded at the trade deadline adding much needed size and athleticism with pj Washington and gafford, but I’m still not sure if that’ll be enough. I like their depth with Dante exum and Tim hardaway jr.
Pj especially has been such an improvement for them as a big athletic 2 way forward. I’m also curious how Derek lively will perform in his first playoff appearance
If Denver wins again that will be the most impressive win I can remember. They’re going to have a gauntlet to get those 16 wins
Even though the West is extremely strong this year, a team from the East may surprise us all and make it to the finals!
Of course, the best team in the east is better than the 1st seed in the west...there shouldn't be anything to be surprised about

Great content love the video, but you have to put that biased away brother from yo team you literally said size will kill your OKc team bc of the nuggets but literally Mavs have the size advantage and I would say even a greater advantage bc they also have Kyrie. Which in a Mavs vs thunder series Mavs would have the 2 best players on the court. That’s why Mavs win and go against the Nuggets in WCF and that matchup could go either way. Sorry but thunder don’t have the size and experience to match with Mavs, nuggets, lakers. Other than that I think you did good at predicting and analyzing.

If the Celtics win it's going to be because they have had an easier path to the finals and the Nuggets have played more close games and *might* run out of gas at the end. If they don't it's because the Murray/Jokic combo is just that good.

Definitely going to 7 games but brown and Tatum tend to shrink under pressure and sometimes are no shows, the amount pressure the nuggets put on other teams is too much, and jokic effortlessly can get 30 points, he makes sure he passes and gets his guys good looks and when he needs to he ls aggressive, nuggets might even win in 6
Definitely agree with Boston winning the chip. It wouldn’t shock me if Denver repeats, but Boston, when playing to their fullest potential, is the best team in the NBA.

i strongly disagree with the OKC vs mavs pick. when healthy, the mavs have the chance to blow OKC out by 40. when luka was out, they lost by 4. jason kidd has looked like a phenomenal playoff coach in the series’ that he has coached, so yes he isn’t great but i think he will hang on for this matchup

Was fine until OKC - Mavs series.. Holy.. OKC is like the best and most suitable matchup for Mavericks. Luka outweighs SGA in EVERYTHING (will prob. have 5-9 more points, 4-6 more rebounds, 5-8 more assists per game). So SGA can't even cancel out Luka. Maybe Kyrie-SGA can cancel each other out. Who's stoping Luka? Then.. defense.. After the trade deadline Mavs are one of the best defending teams in league while Luka and Kyrie are on the field. During the season, we had one game after deadline where everyone played and it wasn't even competitive. Mavs won by what, 30? Not to mention, Kyrie has playoff experience, and Luka.. Yeah, we all know that Luka somehow manages to become even bigger monster in the postseason than he already is somehow. Idk, I respect the fan cheering for his team but lets be realistic. Max the OKC could get in this series is 1 win. Dallas is veeeery verrry bad matchup for OKC. So better cheer for Clips in that round 1 :)

@RandomNumber6598 sounds like you haven't been watching mavericks games recently. I think playoff experience is a bigger factor than you think, considering how young the team is and how the best player on OKC hasn't played real minutes in the playoffs.
@@RandomNumber6598 Yes we saw in that single match when both teams were healthy. They were so dominant that they only lost by 35 points. Not to mention, they almost lost at home while Dallas played without Luka. They are not better at anything than Dallas is.

Last time mavs played okc we sat Luka and weren’t fully healthy and it was still close, I think the thunder may arguably have the better rounded team but you just can’t beat the veteran playoff expertise here and I think a fully healthy mavs team god forbid any injuries after they beat the clippers will take it away in min six but likely seven games give then they will be the away team.

Dallas did overachieve in 2021-22 making it to the WCF, why is that not in his favor?
