The first Telltale Games adventure game and second game overall. As a true Telltale Games fan, I just had to play it. I bought the steamcode (bundle of both Bone games) on Ebay for just 1 euro. Worth it, in my opinion!

@@Pocket-Lent leaves a bad taste for the bone series a whole, it’s been cancelled, which I’m not sure I’m too disappointed about. Jeff had control at the beginning of the project but Netflix has a propensity to overhaul stories to make them appealing to “general audiences”.

I feel that bone is by far the most unique comic series I’ve ever seen because it’s taking three slapstick rubber hose characters and putting them in a realistic sometimes dark world

I don't want to watch this all the way through because I'm afraid it'll erase the voices I have in my head when I read the comic. Fone is Elijah Wood, Phoney is Patton Oswald, and Smiley is John Mulaney.
That's actually perfect. I hadn't heard of Patton Oswalt prior to this but his voice is scarily close to how I had imagined Phoney sounded like when I was first reading it
trust me the only voice this has changed for me is phoney because most of the acting here is pretty bad
Right now, I'm imagining Lewis Black for Phoney a.k.a. Anger from Inside Out. It feels... okay. I'm not 100% sold myself, but it's my pick at the moment.

Still, it's a surprise that this exists. And as a bonus, this was Telltale Games' second ever release, AND their first story-based (point and click) game. Before that, they only released a Texas Hold-Em game.
Huh, I read one or two Bone comics, but I never knew they had a whole overarching story. Seeing it now, it actually looks like a pretty cool story! And this is a charming game - I appreciate seeing you play it! Thank you for posting this!
There's 9 volumes, and they're definitely a worthwhile read.

It's a fantastic series, honestly.
I love the graphic novel series, I read the whole thing. I am in love. I just wish this game had more detail and better voice acting but overall it's really good.
I mean, It's pretty good, taking into account the fact this was released in 2005 and I think it was one of Telltale's earliest games.
I think the Bone cousins are very similar to the Eds from Ed Edd n Eddy in personality
-Fone Bone / Edd (Double D): They’re both the most intelligent and they try to stay out of trouble.
-Smiley Bone / Ed: They’re the tallest and the least intelligent. They’re the most joyful of the groups.
-Phoney Bone / Eddy: They’re the most greediest and they mostly care about money. They act like the leader of their groups.
Ed, Edd, and Eddy weren't brothers. They were just friends with similar names (like the Ashleys from "Recess" ).

I’ve read all of Bone books since I was in middle school. I love all of them so much. I never knew they have a game til few weeks ago when I saw this gameplay was uploaded

I feel like the Rat Creatures should be like a raspy whisper voice than a deep generic monster voice cause they’re like Rodents, scurrying and even being idiots. Kingdok should be the only one with a deeper monster voice from how massive the thing is. Or maybe Mark Hamill to voice him lol. That’s what I think. That’s my head canon for their voices
When I was in High School, my school library happened to have the complete collection of Bone in its inventory. I read through them throughout the first half of my freshman year in High School.

I remember playing the free trial of this on wild tangent *all the time* when I was four. This game is what got me into the comics when I was 12. It's not the best game but without it, I wouldn't have witness the greatness that is the bone series.

I remember I got the first book on the Christmas of 2015 or 2016 and I thought that the other books hadn’t come out yet so I was waiting and it took me till 2018 to realize that there was an entire series completed and it still is my favourite book series

Those are exactly how I expected them to sound! The creator did a really good job at characterizing everyone in the graphic novels in such a way that you could always tell what they were supposed to sound like!

i Always imagined smiley bone would be voiced by bill farmer (Or goofy) Phoney Bone to be voiced by wallace shaun (or rex from toy story or the con man from the princess bride) , and fone bone to be voiced by Jason Marsdon ( Chester from fairly odd parents). dunno they sound like they fit the characters personalities.

This looks FANTASTIC! Honestly the models look so sharp and good and the color palette is awesome.
Huh... In a weird way this reminds me of Dark City. The comic leaves Locus as the overarching mystery and doesn't reveal most of the opening to the end. Dark City did the same thing with the theatrical release compared to the director's cut. I kinda understand it but the mystery aspect was what really sucked me into the comic.

Phoney sound about EXACTLY how imagined him to sound. Smiley somewhat smilier but less doofus like. Fone Bone is an Everyman character so his voice should sound kinda "neutral"?

For me Phoney always sounded like Daffy duck, fone bone sounds like krillin from dragon ball and smiley sounds like goofy. I cant imagine them anyway else.

When I first saw this game on the website Trygames, I first thought the Bone books which I didn't know existed until someone in my school had a Bone book was based on this game
I had no idea they made a game for this. I'm not a big fan of the voice work. They all sound the same with no distinct flair to them. Smiley Bone needs more of a...not quite Goofy voice, but more chipper and high pitched sort of tone. Phoney Bone is alright, but I would've liked it to be a bit more gruff. And Fone Bone could benefit from a slightly higher pitch to make him sound slightly chipper like his personality, but not quite as high as Smiley because he's not as chipper as he is.
I remember reading the book series when I was 11 which I enjoyed so I’m glad they made a game
