The queen has landed. Wearied from her perilous flight she sheds her wings, burrows into the soft sand and begins to lay. I like how the scale of the bosses keeps getting bigger,keeps the game somewhat hyped up for because of how cool the next one's gonna be-
We do know that bullfrog is the biggest natural titan, the only ones on par or slightly larger are well not natural critters in game. So while the size cap is known yeah the leaked potential titans are really interesting (not confirmed to be titans though)

As this game grows and adds new ants species in new updates, what other type of ant would you like to see in the game? I think the honey pot ants should be added :)
I mean... Termites function like ants, and also have a species that cultivate fungus, similar to leaf cutters.
They could also do a DLC with another creature like they did with spiders.
As far as I know I donât think honey pot ants are planned

well the tier 5 ant has already been decided, but hasnt officialy been released(a slug disco dev accidentally leaked it). but after the full release, the devs are thinking about DLC, sso maybe we can see them added?

If you look at the ant hill/nest at 35:25 you can see a handful of Fire ants fending off a bunch of bugs while the queen was evacuating. And they drowned along with the bugs. They are heroes for sacrificing themselves for the colony. They should get some sort of recognition for their bravery.

for food storage, its best to have it near the entrance, and its super crazy efficient to upgrade instead of making more

Nice to see you back playing Empires. In case you didn't know, level 3 fire ant tiles give you 2 ants so it's well worth upgrading them

I have patiently waited for the next level to be played. Today is the day. Just saying, the Formicarium challenge 4 is a, hehe, *beast*, Beaver, so be wary! Also, got the Tea. Rex plushie recently. He goes so well with Toast!
Yeah that's why when I first got to do the Formicaraium 4 Challenge I used only fire ants since it makes more sense because of their titan climbing ability (not sure if the other ants species used in the challenges could do the same thing) and the fact the pervasive ants cost nothing after several seconds helps a lot more than the vigorous ones.
@@kylecollier7569 all other ants could climb them so leafcutter majors are especially really good and maybe some wood ants for more damage
@@goldenplayz1582 thanks for confirming it. But even then I figured that since the formicarium update involved fire ants, I only used them. Took me two tries on EASY mode, that's how hard it is even on the easiest difficulty.

Dude the amount of times Iâve yelled at him in my mind is insane, like how he always puts his ants on not attacking or picking up food, and the soldiers arenât free! If they are on the tile for a while they will hatch for free, but if there is food, and the egg is already on the tile, it will cost food!đĄ
Hay donât know if u knew but the âwaspâ is actually a mantid that mimics wasps either to hunt them or not to be seen as prey lol they are quite fascinating

beaves remember fire ant have a special ability, if you upgrade a fire ant tile to level 3, you will get 2 ants form that tiles instead of one, plus they are both level 3, so it's better strategy to max upgrade your fire ants, and then add more tiles.
for this level in specific its actually not. the objective only wants more ants, and upgrades dont count towards that. so its better to spam ants, and its actually better to spam workers than soldiers as they are more food efficient.
Fire ant soldiers only add 1.5 to the pop meter (lvl 3 tiles only provide 3) while 1 worker tile adds 1. So it is way more efficient to spam workers that it is to upgrade fire ant soldiers. You only need 80 fire ant soldiers lvl 1 to access everywhere on the map that isnât flooded and kill the blue shimmer so that is the beach mark before worker spam
@@meepswag35 while that is true, in the beginning where food is more limited and ants are few, it's better to have 2 level 3 fire ant, instead of 3 level 1 fire ants, just because level 3's are more powerful. but that is just my experience
@@johannesjuhl8500 well not really for this level. Itâs still better to have more ants than upgraded ones on this level, Iâve beaten the level in insane without upgrading any ants, and the speedruns and challenge runs for this level donât upgrade ants.

love it when beaver says that the upgrade on the fire ants he choosed dosnt work for the tier he did in this and only works in champain in the main base hes making :p but he chooses wich ants that he wants before starting the fire ants. i enjoy this game too, fun to play

When you do the formicarhum challenge when you get too the twin you need black ants to attract them so that there will kill each other
for some reasons i feel like the final end game will be all the ant colonies that he played in the past have one last battle for the king colonies the black ants, wood ants, leave cutter ants, fire ants, army ants, trap jaw ants all in one place one final battle for victory or judgment kind of a D-DAY {doomsdays}

Beaver the ants you choose usually do take food they only don't take food sometimes or when there's no egg on the tile also prepare for the insect hybrids!

I feel like beaver needs a reminder that the fire ants lvl 3 give 2 ants, the level 3 ants aren't really better than lvl 2s but, technically, you're paying 3/4ths the price of 2 level 2 fire ants when you get a level 3
