Those won’t be low income homes. I doubt billionaires would invest in low ROI projects. The problem in the state is COST of housing, not housing.

Let's look how this came about. Developers purchased land in secret over a period of years. They took landowners to court to force them to sell their land. They say they will pay their 'fair share' in improvements to infrastructure. After their 'fair share' the balance belongs to Solano county citizens. What is their 'fair share'? No one knows. Problems of water supply, sewage and garbage to the estimated 40,000 homes and businesses has not been thoroughly work out. What if their 'fair share' doe not cover ten yrs down the road?
Developers state this is targeted for 'middle class' with houses starting at the low $400Ks. A $500K house in Solano county is about 1600sq/ft and one bath maybe two. This is without upgrades. Anyone who has bought a house before knows there are bidding wars. When we purchased in Vacaville we were outbid 5 times. Bay area people are desperate to leave the bay area. I can't blame them. Fairfield, Vacaville and other communities in Solano county are building houses as fast as they are sold and built. Even before they are built. In Vacaville alone there are at least 6-8 subdivisions in the building stages right now with another 3-4 in the ground breaking stage.
Another thing the citizens of Solano county need to remember is people who live in the bay area are far more liberal in their politics. You only need to look at Arizona to see what happens when a massive swing to liberal ideology takes place. Sanity went to insanity quickly.
We will be voting NO for this project.

I've seen this comment on multiple related videos. California desperately needs new housing and development and it seems people are hell bent on stopping any progress for some reason.
