Dobby (Marshcrawla) might only be decent in Kruleboyz, but in Big Waaagh! and Gitz, its a 100% auto include.

Used to play Warhammer back before end times then when AoS came in I lost interest. But when I saw the Krule Boyz release it caught me back in. This year I've started getting back into the Wargaming hobby and I snatched me up some Krule Boy models finally and was looking to get more into them. Glad I stumbled onto this video. Definitely getting me some of these boxes and now with the knowledge of the best ways to get them. So great video, my guy.

I’m just getting into AoS, bought a nurgle vanguard box set and a loonboss to have fun painting, but the more content I watch and the more I discover the models, the more I’ve fallen in love with the Kruleboyz. I’ve also grabbed the Rotmire creed cause I love those models too.. 😊

Picked up Dominion for $90 which is just insane to me. I'm mostly a hobbyist so the value was just amazing.

Totally agree with your Kragnos assessment. I've always felt he suffers like Nagash and Alarielle. Sure, they're all powerful, but since they cost so much, it's really hard to justify including them unless you have a very specific reason. Most of the time, you're going to want to use those points elsewhere. Great models for building and painting, and they look awesome, but will spend more time on the shelf than the tabletop.

I disagree with you on the Marshcrawler Sloggoth. It is, in my opinion, one the best things in KBs to ally into other Destruction armies. A +1 to Hit saves a ton of CP for All Out Attack with Gitz. And is amazing in a Mega Mob

GW did the impossible with orcs in warhammer: They made orcs that I will actually buy and covet.
If you play Warcry (and if you have an army in AOS, the question becomes "why dont you play warcry?") then the aesthetic fits extremely well into the 1st ed setting taking place in the hellscape of the Bloodwind Spoil/Eightpoints. It was like the Kruleboyz were made for Warcry, not just because of how great they play, but also because you need so few models and each model is a unique masterpiece on the table.
That Dominion set, is the best Warcry starter set they ever made just because of all the options it gives you for two warbands. S+ tier Warcry content all the way.They even made a really compelling campaign to use this set in Warcry.
And that saying a lot because the OG Warcry starter is one of the best deals GW have had for a complete compelling game inside of one box purchase.
I like putting the killa bosses with the gut rippers because they’re cheap and they help your gut rippers stick around longer.
Also if you end up doing one of these for Stormcast, be sure to cover the thunderstrike warcry box. Not sure what GW was thinking but the value there is pretty nuts compared to buying the units separately. Kicking myself for having bought two grand hammer boxes when I could just picked up the warcry boxes instead.
@@BudgetWaaagh lol yeah that will be a long video if you plan to cover hero units. Stormcast has an ass ton, and only about 1/4 to less than 1/4 are worth playing. If you do end making one, I'd suggest Stormkeeps videos for research. He has an excellent breakdown of every units gameplay value. Either way I am here for the next army you choose to cover!

These Tier List make for a great guessing game. I try to guess what tier you'll put a thing in as I watch.
Worth noting the Gutrippa paint set has unique models; they aren't available anywhere else. Small differences, but compare them and you'll see

Warcry and Warhammer Underworld both have a different Kruleboyz warband, small units but very nice models.
Really enjoyed this teir list... I feel that the army would be uncollectable for most players without the existence of the dominion box set.
How I builtmy list.
Dominion box set on sale £60 -(£30 worth of kruleboyz)
second Kruleboyz dominion half on ebay - £35
20 extra hobgrots on eBay £8
Warrior box set on sale £25 ( £12.50 worth of kruleboyz)
As such I have paid £85.50 in total and my force consists of...
2 killabosses on Gnashtoofs
3 killabosses with stab grots.
2 merknob banner boys
2 swapcalla shamans with potgrots.
6 bolt boys
30 gut rippas
60 hobgrot...
That's 110 models for less than a vanguard set.
Ohh, and I play oneagerules because aos is not fun for me and takes too long.
Future plans is to pick up whatever is unpopular or available within the stormbringer magazine and built up from there (though probably no more hobgrots).
GW prices are not for me...
I highly recommend it, you can port over all your current armies and you never have to spend any money on rule books again. Plus play time is quick and easy for anyone to pick up. My wife won't give age of sigmar any attention but she loves onepagerules and really understands what she's doing.
Of course the sloggoth looks horrendous thats the point! I guess its all subjective though...
The physical battle tomb was out of date within a few weeks.

I just bought all of someone's Kruleboys from the Dominion Box x2. So 2 of everything in the box plus a Sludgeraker and a Gobsprak for $300 usd
Okay so I would say your rating system for gameplay is based on models being played for age of sigmar but if you think about their potential from warcry warbands having smaller numbers is perfectly fine and would bring that gameplay score up. That being said I think your ratings were fair when under the assumption it’s being used for age of sigmar.
I think you're missing a major key with the sloggoth; it's a gloomspite model. It has the troggoth keyword so can be buffed by the dankhold trogboss and it has +1 to hit for friendly models, which would go a long way on 60 stabbas.

Im finding a really strange running theme in AOS of giving models to the wrong faction. Goblins riding a troggoth; is somehow not in gloomspite, the giant centaur god is somehow not in beasts of chaos, they gave the new ogrid models that look like updated bullgors to slaves and not beasts of chaos. It's thematically all over the place.

I will die on the hill, that the Murknob is better than Killaboss on foot.
The Murk is at least a cheap vessel for eye pebbel with upside, while the battleshock immunity from the killa is literally worthless when ur in a faction where everithing dies when attacked anyway
