I'm pretty sure there would be a way to put a lens in a helmet safely if we started thinking about how to do that. This footage is so very impressive, and yes, race simulator devs should take note, Dorna should take note, Isle of Man organizers should take note, and let's make a helmet that can safely hold a camera lens under the visor, cause the result is mindblowing
265chemic no, there’s isn’t even helmet technology for an internal sunvisor that meets race standards (SNELL), let alone a camera technology that’a just “cooler” for viewing. You think they wouldn’t have already done this?
It's hard to put a camera safely on these helmets. However, you can put cameras in some ways that they just fall of in case of crash, but they wouldn't be secure for racing.

im high as fuck and am super immersed in different concepts so i thought about this concept the feeling they have to feel, getting an unobstructed view of mine in its purest form and the ground moving so close and so fast no human before the invention of bikes could experience that concept and live to tell about it
One can easily put a tiny HD cam in the helmet now given how small they are in phones without being intrusive or a safety hazard and it would be cool. Maybe even F1 can and should do the same.
