Jaco has been a great inpiration and so are you. Thank you for the wonderful lesson!
Many thanks, Scott.
Major blues pattern is a great addition to our arsenal!

Another sublime lesson Dan!

This isn't the bass you modified with John East and bare Knucle? I have an 82 fretless Squire and I would like to know if you recommend that combination so that it sounds a little like Pastorius like that bass.
I liked that bass but sold it to make room for another one. This is an original ‘75. Jaco didn’t play an active bass so don’t add a preamp. He did play fretted but is most known for fretless so you might consider that.
@@OnlineBassCourses Ok, denn would you recommend Mojotone J- Bass prewired Harness and Fender CS 60 Jazz Set pickups? I have only the wood from my Squire.
@@Colorlibertad Sorry, I've never heard of the first and never played the second! I wouldn't obsess too much over these details. None of us is ever going to sound exactly like Jaco nor should we. Solo the back pickup on a jazz and that's how you'll get close, as well as learning his bass lines, style, and techniques. You'll only go so far with a Squier and pickup modifications although you can definitely get a good sound with that combo.
@@OnlineBassCourses You're right, I'm not going to be obsess over sounding the same, but I do try to make it sound a little similar. For my taste, a Fender Performer sounds more like Pastorius than a Fender Pro II. The Pro's bridge pickup is not alnico 5 😉 Thanks for the advice!!
@@Colorlibertad I think you know more than I do about the gear!
Wow, way to take 9 minutes to give us 30 seconds of information.
Sorry, crabby mood, it was a good lesson actually. I would like to hear more about how you use the lydian dominant in your playing.
Sorry you didn’t enjoy this one. Thanks for the comment. 🙏
