- Dry Graphite is a ready-to-use, dry lubricant that coats metal and plastic with a heat-stable film that provides excellent lubrication and protection from galling and fusion at extreme temperatures. It works at temperatures up to 1000°F and does not attract dust or other airborne particulates. Use for engine assembly and break-in, hydraulic pumps, conveyor systems, vending machines, business machines, parking meters, tumbler locks, ovens, furnaces, kiln mechanisms and automotive and industrial gaskets. It is perfect for automatic vending machines, automotive repair shops, industrial machinery manufacturers, vehicle manufacturers and office machines. It is inert to water, oils and alkalies and is effective as an anti-seize compound and release agent.
I’ve used dry graphite for years it is excellent and doesn’t attract dust etc. great on table saw trunnions and slides, hinges, ANY kind of lock mechanism etc etc and bolts and nuts (can really slow down corrosion), drill press mechanisms too. Don’t have good clothes on either. It’s a stinker for overspray and cleaning off. So put up some rags to shield things before you spray and wear gloves. Don’t breathe the fumes. House door hinge pins really quiet down but spray the pin removed from the door or you’re painting the trim. I still highly recommend it.
Will this work on rc car bearings? Specifically a ARRMA 8s Kraton?
spray on elastic silicone rubber, will it crack or break?
Can I use it for a squeaky rebounder?
Is this in the Australian market
I heard dry graphite in vacuum loses its lubricating ability...
Is this conductive?
yes, a similar product is conductive, 1000-2000 ohms.
Can this be used on firearms!?
The graphite spray is highly toxic, you couldn't pay me to use it.
