- Ep. 232 - Hershey has the biggest amusement park in Pennsylvania and may often have the scent of chocolate in the air but it is much more than that! We visit this beautiful town as we travel full-time in our self-built Ford Transit campervan with our cat in search of free and interesting things to do in the "sweetest place on earth."

- Hershey Gardens: Hershey Gardens opened in 1937 with Milton Hershey’s request to “create a nice garden of roses.” The small rose garden has grown into 23 acres of botanical beauty overlooking the town of Hershey. Highlights here include a tropical Butterfly Atrium with hundreds of butterflies, the rose garden with 3,000 roses representing 115 varieties, and hands-on Children’s Garden. Admission to the gardens is FREE with the American Horticultural Society membership as part of their RAP program.
- Local parks: We chose to end our time at Swatara Creek Park, enjoying a nice evening by the Swatara Creek.

What a great butterfly exhibit. I love this kind of thing. Kinda disappointed Steve wasn't eating a chocolate bar as he walked through the botanical gardens. I just love your chill attitude when traveling, it really helps finding the out of the way places. 💯
It's a wonderful butterfly exhibit. Knowing Steve, he'd probably walk through with an Aldi brand chocolate bar! 😆 And I actually have a Hershey's t-shirt but it was too hot to wear while we were there. We're still working on finding balance and finding the right pace as we travel but we think we're doing better. We do like to try to take our time and find and enjoy the local spots!

We love going there! It's the only place we've had the butterflies land on us That was Alfredo sauce we were putting on our pizza. It's not something we normally do but we had some left over from a pasta dish we made.
