Glad Hal is squashing the reps hate. A typical cycle in the apex community is to hate on player, call them trash and repeat. People have clearly not watched TSM in full or they wouldn’t be hating on him lol
He has some of the sickest moments. That one snipe out of the air by overlook on worlds edge comes to mind
There’s a clip not too long ago of reps doing most of the damage on DZ in the final end game and tsm won the fight. He does catch a lot of flak for no reason
most of the hate stems from Hal's chat/community. They blame everyone but Hal when they are down. Everyone in the pro scene respects Jordan and what they know what he can be when he is confident and motivated. I really do think Hal leaving is going to wake him up.
Hal also said alb would be a good igl 😅
@@hoodyplzjordan is a really good igl he was igl in poland and pro league 2022. he was the opening damager that time which really shocked me since hes an anchor but he is not consistent.
Reps can igl, we've seen him and hal co igl, he has to commit to be igl and recruit a good anchor, Verhulst is fine being a fragger
Verhuslt can anchor too so if they get a savage fragger it'd be bussing too
I'm not sure, honestly from what I've seen watching tsm post Hal, Evan seems like the better/more confident IGL
@@HJOTech he is and if youve watched them the last few years, you can see evan grow more confident in his calls and actually around 40% of the time he would just have the better call than Hal but Hal would ignore it and go for a different call. Not sure if I would like him on IGL though tbh. Feel like he would bring more value if he just focused on his own game. Unless he can naturally become an IGL and still frag out like Hal did, then I dont want Evan as IGL. And imo its not weird to see them struggle. I actually think these scrims went pretty well. First day trialing someone and they always lived past 10th aside from the last game. If given time to mesh with their 3rd I can see them being a top team again.

Hal literally said MOST of the time he doesn’t get in the mode, then says he can though… That literally sounds like a nice way to say he can igl but he can’t
I feel like Evan and Jordan are relying to much on a third to fill Hals shoes. They clearly have the skill to make up for a third but it just feels like they are holding themselves back from playing Apex in a way thats most common to them. Hals comment on Reps being IGL is really insightful to getting them back on track, Reps knows Hals gameplans like the back of his hand
I think they understand this. I think they’re going to grow so much as players over the next couple months. Especially if Zap stays and Talmadge coaches. The boys looked so good together in the tourney today. It was lucky they were allowed to play with each other. They were able to get a lot more practice. Jordan missed scrims but Evan had a really tough test today IGLing solo
Jordan Co-Igling was rare because he gets into that mode when TSM’s back was against the wall but that of course was a rare occasion with an igl like Hal.
After yesterday (Friday) with Zap and today (Saturday) in the 20k tourney I’m really proud of the boys for staying together. The infancy of a great team could be forming. Evan and Jordan are going to grow as players so much. They’ve got big shoes to fill. Hope they can pull it off. The script would be crazy

Honestly imo I think verhulst got convinced by reps to stay, he could have easily went to an already established team of two with a decent igl and and another player but because they’ve been under Hal for so long without him they kind of look lost trying to trial people
It's probably going to go the same way the old Furia roster went( when it was Watson, panderz and Xera). Pande and Xera stayed as a duo for a long time, co-igl stuff, trying to find a 3rd to fit with them. I think they're both on sperate teams now, though.
Main concern would be for Reps. It's almost like the same problem Albraleilei had, where he wasn't really seen as a top tier IGL, but was also mainly on MNK. Alb working on controller has brought up his value as a Fragger.
The weapon meta will switch soon when hemlock and havoc get nerfed and SMGs get buffed, which will put controller players at a higher value over MnK.
can't imagine the weight that was on Hal. come to think of it, I'm glad they separated so all 3 of them can wake the f up and level up again.
Why talk about "filling my shoes"? That TSM is over. They need to build a new team, new chemistry, a new vibe, new strategies.
Exactly! It was kind of a backhanded complement in a way. There's no filling shoes in this scenario. Hals out of the picture now and so is his igl playstyle. They have to find their own stride and what works best for them now.
@@jupiterapollo4985 i agree with you guys, but i do think that hal has a point when he says "fill his shoes" because they found a winning formula together, and reps and evan have proven they can play their roles at a championship level, so maybe it makes more sense to find someone comparable to hal, instead of changing up so much which could provide a plethora of different and uncertain outcomes.

It’s not a secret that the IGL is the hardest role to replace on top of that he was also their fragger. He had to simultaneously do the 2 hardest jobs on the team, that’s probably why Hal often felt like he was doing everything alone.

Ik it wasn't actual teams but yesterday there was a tourney where Jordan and Evan were in the same team and they got 1st with both of them co igling. It was mainly Evan tho.
I like the idea of Evan being igl. He seems more than capable.

2:18 "I'm just swinging out right" says a lot about this teams current positioning and situational awareness.
I just think that Jordan and Evan are so used to having Hal micromanaging team every game that they need to have time getting used to thinking for themselves again. I think Jordan should try IGLing the fights and try to find a coach that could take care of their macro and rotations.
from what i've seen it's the opposite Jordan excels at planning their rotates and finding places to play (he always has) it's the fighting where Verhulst has been taking over and being the voice the team needs, you can literally see it in the clips in this video
dezign is a great value version of hal it wouldve never worked hope they go with the reps igl move sounds solid

I hate that Reps is getting so much hate when he's one of the only good MNK players left and before people ask why don't u just swap to roller then, yeah have u seen half the fkin scene. Do you think some people who go pro are willing to just restart their aim? For some people they never played controller and I know damn well that aim assist is needed but does not need to be 0.4

I feel like if Jordan takes this serious, I feel like this position will catapult his career. Hal taught jordan to fly, so he could soar. 😂
Also with Jordan being a more positive person, if he can learn when to show tough and soft love it will help Evan and whoever the third is play at their highest level.

This new tsm team is ai besides Jordan, Reps the only performing somewhat as of late Evan is not the same player he was last year it’s really obvious and if anything shows they miss Hal and Raven bad

mostly yes, but not entirely. i say that because TSM was TSM in my opinion because of how they are able to assign criticism without it being personal or too heated. yes, sometimes they got heated at eachother, but that will happen when youre passionate and losing. however, not everyone can take criticism and that back-and-forth like evan and reps can, so in a sense their personalities are also vital when youre trying to be a championship team. but i agree, hal is their main fragger, decision maker, has the highest awareness and discipline for sure. however, hal isnt the greatest at being accountable, so well see how zero and gen deal with him. but im sure he wont be his usual self around them, at least not for awhile as they gain more chemistry, because he cant talk to them right now the same way he could talk to jordan or evan since him and jordan are such good friends. but well see
