imagine cancel culture, but they only focus one artist, eminem. thats really how it was. and the word you were lookin for in the beginning is "filler"(filler rhymes). em has no filler or its all fillers, but clever.
for me it always was his never ending will to improve. you can be sure that every new song you hear from him has something in it you never heard before, not even from him. and his technical ability is growing and growing to the point where people cant even understand how he does it.
really a great artist, there are not many like him anymore in any genre.

Eminem is really the first rapper to affect middle and upper America with rap and the controversial lyrics that are said in rap songs but bc he was really the biggest artist in the world at the time he was constantly dealing with people trying to sue and cancel him including the government bc they only cared about how rap affected people when it hit people outside the ghettos even though he is from the ghetto. Em is undeniably himself though and he refused to change for anyone but himself or his kids. He’s too big to ever cancel as he is the highest selling rap artist of all time.

I recommend reacting to the explicit versions of Eminem songs and not the censored versions from here on out. You miss a lot. Especially the 3rd verse of this song. You'll get more out of his songs that way. Just a tip.

Em has always told his raw truth bro. Regardless of how he was being targeted by the FCC trying to limit his lyrical content. I suggest going all the way back to LP1 and going forward you’ll then grasp how vile he was in their eyes
first of all...DUDE. you just have NO idea what's about to happen to you. the Eminem B-Rabbit hole (Stans will get it LOL) is very deep, in many ways. To get an idea of his backstory, watch 8 Mile.
Then start with his 1st album Infinite, and an MTV freestyle with him and his bestie Proof. (Remember his name, it'll matter later.) Go from there, in order. The transformation and the lyrical bombardment will change your life, even if just in appreciation for the writing. There's a lot that will shock the crap out of you, some that will break your heart, much of it hilarious, a lot that manages to be all three. Stick with it even when you're starting to think he's gone too far lol. Along the way, pepper in his freestyles and cyphers, ideally checking each out at the time it was done in relation to the album you're on at the time.
Also pay attention to which are considered his diss tracks--and again, assuming it's not already on the album you're listening to at the time, check out diss tracks when they happened. Em's features on other artists' tracks are often (ok usually lol) as impressive as his own catalog. (Drake's track Forever is a great example). Finally, check out his other group D12 (they're really fun), Bad Meets Evil (him and Royce da 5'9", my fave collab) and Slaughterhouse (legendary freestyles and cyphers).
