There's a British version of a water mist extinguisher that claims that unlike regular water extinguishers, water mist works well on flammable liquids and grease fires also. Is that the case with this Amerex water mist extinguisher as well?

all I can say is the amerex extinguisher is not intended for liquid fires it might work on a liquid that is not grease but It would not be the best choice

The American Amerex version is rated for A and C fires. A meaning anything that leaves a ash like wood and paper, C stands for current which is anything that is electrical. I believe that British water extinguishers are water based and they have a bit of foam in them making them able to fight flammable liquids.

I DON'T THINK THE British units use foam but I think the nozzle is specially designed so it can put out a grease fire
