Better Call Saul is the prequel to the award-winning series Breaking Bad, set six years before Saul Goodman (Bob Odenkirk) became Walter White's lawyer. When we meet him, the man who will become Saul Goodman is known as Jimmy McGill, a small-time lawyer searching for his destiny, and, more immediately, hustling to make ends meet. Working alongside, and often against, Jimmy is "fixer" Mike Erhmantraut (Jonathan Banks), a beloved character introduced in Breaking Bad. The series will track Jimmy's transformation into Saul Goodman, the man who puts "criminal" in "criminal lawyer."

Ernie being able to rip apart that clamshell packaging alone proves he could've easily defeated the entire cartel if given the chance
this is the funniest comment ive ever seen
Ernieberg moment
Ernie took over the ABQ underworld after Heisenberg's demise. He ruled with a clear mind ... And a plastic clamshell fist.
Dude I was thinking that was impressive bc I break out the scissors personally
Ajajajajajajajja
Ernie didn't deserve any of the abuse Chuck gave him.
Couldn’t be precious Ernesto!
@@RandarrradaraErn did nothing wrong
Ernie was a Quisling. He got what he deserved.
Ernesto didn't deserve to die!!
Chuck was the worst waste of screentime anyway
Chuck had more in common with Jimmy than he likes to admit. He conned poor Ernesto, costing him his job as part of a personal vendetta against Jimmy.
2 sides of the same coin
You think that a tape just happens to play like that? No! He orchestrated! Chucky!
What a sick joke!
Chuck: jimmy you hurt people and then you justify your actions
Yeah chuck is a hypocrite
nah really?
@@simpumoonChuck is a hypocrite, he ruined Kim career with pushing Howard to send her to doc review which is described as a career purgatory then he also ruined Ernesto career
@@seliamila1005 nah, really?
@@simpumoon he fired ernesto from the firm after tricking him to tell jimmy about this recording
@@iamDemotivationalSpeaker nah... REALLY?
Chuck already planning a slippin Jimmy move.
The difference is, when Chuck does it, it's portrayed in a bad light. With Jimmy, it's exciting and engaging, because Jimmy has charisma.
@@Onmysheet What makes Chuck worse is that he always uses Jimmy's love to hurt Jimmy. Meanwhile, Jimmy uses Chuck's hate towards him to manipulate him.
@@Onmysheet I never saw it that way
Apparently Michael McKean wanted to add that tong flip at the end which I think is great because it erases any doubt that Chuck did this on purpose.
Would’ve been cooler if he finished the scene, then looked straight into the camera lens and tapped the side of his nose
@@petergeorgehill
Bravo Vince!
Chuck thinks he is different from his brother. But ultimately they are cut from the same cloth.
Chuck always uses the good in people to manipulate them.
Sounds like someone else we know

@@AlebReborn As if they are brothers who learned the worst impulses from each other
Interesting because Jimmy would exploit the bad. Makes you wonder who was actually good
I like how Chuck used wooden tongs, since metal conducts electricity. Nice detail.
Wood can conduct electricity too, just not nearly as much as metal. Just shows you how made up his condition was and how he convinced himself that wooden tongs are safe.
metal tongs lol
Something unforgiveable
Ernie should really of sued HHM for the way he was treated.

Really , on the basis of what?
@@ltg8382wrongful termination?
@@ahmade.8142 Wrongful how? He told Ernesto not to tell and he did.
I don't think Ernesto would have the time and money to do that. He's better off away from the McGill fued
I am glad Ernie did tell Kim regardless because he likes and considers both Jimmy and Kim as friends.
Even though he got fired for this, he still felt good that he didn’t betray his friends, that’s a good friend.
snitch 🛵
Chuck's goal was to get him to tell Jimmy or Kim anyway so he can set his plan off
That Evo is so mint
Ernie's car was pretty cool
literally just rewatched this episode last night
What a coincidence! I figuratively rewatched it last night.
I figuratively watched it last night too!
Ernesto was a good man.
Chuck was contemptible and haughty.
Slippin' Charlie
ur NEST toe?!???!
now that the dust has settled, did we ever figure out what did Chuck mean by this?
Vravo bince
Ernie worked his way up from the mailroom for this bull$h!t.
Chuck is such a pretentious POS. I love how Jimmy bested him on his own turf and in his own profession. Doubt it humbled him but it certainly humiliated him. Loved watching that lantern drop 🔥🔥🏮🏮

Chuck is literally Livia Soprano
HONESTLY.
Slippin' Chuck
This is the moment chuck becomes "slipping chuck"
Ernesto eventually went on to replace Gustavo Fring at El Pollo Hermanos
We need a compilation of Chuck screaming "Ernesto!!"
Does this move remind you of anyone, Chuck? Like a certain Slippin' scam artist?
Chuck is male version of Livia Soprano
The whole allergy to electricity thing was such a mental illness manifesting itself idk how anyone took him seriously his status is the only reason he wasn’t institutionalized
They need to edit their description cause there is an error in the spelling 😂
I know Jimmy feels guilt about what happened with Chuck, but its moments like these that show that there wasn't reconciling with Chuck. This is only one example on the show where Chuck not only used Jimmy's love of his brother against him, but in a clandestine manner, where he was also knowingly and purposefully manipulating the better nature of others to hurt Jimmy as much as he could.
Jimmy and Chuck were both pretending to be who the other was pretending he was not.
2 sides of the same coin
Ernie then went in to call Kim and tell her. Chuck tricked him how?
Ernie was probably worried that Chuck was going crazy so that's why he told Kim and Jimmy. I doubt he realized what Chuck was up to here.
By making him play the tape and reverse psychology
Manipulation, Chuck knew Ernesto would tell Kim who would tell Jimmy. His goal was to get Jimmy to break in, destroy the tape enough to try to expell Jimmy's law license which was Chuck's goal all along.
Wasn't a trick, more like manipulation to get Ernesto to tell Jimmy so Chuck can get to his main goal.
Been forever since I watched so I forgot: what is the context of this? How did he trick Ernesto with this?
Iirc Chuck is baiting Ernesto into telling Jimmy that the tape is there, which Chuck knows will result in Jimmy breaking in and being disbarred
@stagpie6449 And to top it off he gets Ernesto fired for telling Jimmy, which was the entire reason he did this, just to play on his conscience.
@@Halloweenowl Well he told Ernesto not to tell and he did so...
@nonyafkinbznes1420 Ya cause Chuck knew and wanted Ernesto to tell Jimmy, giving him a reason to fire Ernesto and get Jimmy to come for the tape.
@@DaScorpionSting Good luck proving that in court. Ernesto was clearly told not to do something and he did it.
Can someone remind, why this piece of Jimmy's talk is important for this scene?
It is Jimmy explaining that he changed the address in HHM’s Mesa Verde case that ended up getting shifted back over to Kim’s private practice just because of such a monumental error that was framed as Chuck committing it.
I suppose it runs in the family perhaps their father didn't have the "Slipping" gene, But chuck clearly pulled a Slipping Jimmy here.
Don't worry, Ernesto went on to be one of Gus Fring's many doubles, he... um... had an early retirement from it.
Nobody talks about Ernie's sick whip
Kind of ironic he’s like the only black character and gets the whitest car possible
@StopSayingGaslit he should of had a charger- no a chrysler 300 with spinning rims, lifted several inches of course 😂
Tightest car in the series, performance wise.
I forgot ernesto was a charac in this show
So this is Gus's backstory...
ernie deserved better
Ernesto looks like he could be Gus' son
Ernie deserved better
Yay
Man, Chuck McDonald’s really let himself go, huh?
This was the moment Chuck McGill became Slippin' Jimmy
You know when i first started watching this show i thought, what a stupid concept to have Chuck "allergic" to electricity. I didnt have the mental capacity to see how in depth Vince and the writers were trying to show us all that it had nothing to do with electricity. Jimmy made Chuck go legitimately crazy.
