Cairo Shopping & Scams: Dodging Deceitful Encounters in Egypt! 👗🚫

- In this episode, we are trying to find women's sporty clothes such as leggings and whatnot. So there we went snooping around Cairo during this episode we had another encounter with a scammer in Cairo, little he knew we know who he is.
Unfortunately, our SD card got corrupted and lost more footage of scammers and how they were following us.
Be aware people stopping you and trying to know about you with very good English are potential candidates for scammers. Egyptian people will never do that they are all minding their own business unless you stop them to help you out.

these scammers are the reason why tourists don't come back. The best way to deal with them is to 100% ignore them and be rude to them... or, take my approach; hiss at them like a cat and run away (works every time)

If you watch the whole video you will see that I said I have been stopped by him a few times in the same spot inviting to see his Art and other people like him following and inviting . Unfortunately, my SD got corrupted but as I turist in Cairo we were hassled many many times and saw other tourists being hassled as well. Overall, if you read my comment I don't discourage anyone from visiting Cairo or Egypt, however,to be careful and mindful with this type of people.

It's onvious...they all do the same thing...ask when u arrived, fir how long, or what hotel, overly fake friendly...fast talking..fake helpful, then want to give u a card or ask that to show I something or their shop, then sell u overpriced tourist pricing
Happened to me in Cairo. Same approach, but from a different guy. Fell for it. He just wanted to give me his business card. Then the scam really started where he asked my opinion for his art work on papyrus. And then as he knew my name, wrote my name on the one "I liked". Keep in mind he just wanted my opinion, and it wasn't ment for me to buy it. When he wrote my name on it.. Yeah. He suddenly can't sell it to anyone else.. and I have to buy it now

Visited Egypt 20 years ago and will never be back. Aggressive vendors con artists and beggars as well as the constant hassle. Turkey 🇹🇷 far better
