  • For the Winter Solstice 2023, my friend Jack and I, went with Bob the video man on a pilgrimage to the sacred sites of Somerset and Salisbury.
It's been a lifelong dream to go inside the inner circle at Stonehenge and I couldn't go all that way without making an essential pit stop off at the Heart Chakra of the Earth, Glastonbury!
Here's some of the best bits of our trip and an overview of these amazing places in England!

It was great to hear about your experience. I was in a group who were being initiated into Reiki in 2002 and we drove from Glastonbury for sunrise at Stonehenge. There weren't many people there and we had permission to go into the inner circle. I am not sure whether I experienced something there and then. I took my wife there a few years later. I didn't feel anything then when I touched the stones. It was nice and quiet though. Personally, I think my experience at the Chalice Well Gardens was more meaningful. I really did feel something there when I meditated.

Dear Kyle, you can book to actually go in to the circle! You book on line. It's limited to the number of people so quiet.

I visited Glastonbury and Stonehenge in 2005. Glastonbury was such a magical place. I visited Archangel Micheal's Tore, the Chalice Well and the Glastonbury Abbey as well. At Stonehenge, we were allowed to go inside and touch the stones. I used a twigg to see if there is water underneath, and the twigg rolled - that meas there is water underneath the Stonehenge. On the way back to Sweden from Englad I saw a cloud that looked precisely like an angel from the window of the airplane. I reckoned it was Archangel Gabriel, because of the trumpet the angel was holding. I never forget the amazing experiences I had in Glastonbury.

I went to Glastonbury in 2023 for the Spring Equinox after I picked up couple of times the same oracle card from a deck called Mist of Avalon Oracle. The card was White Spring and once I arrived there I went straight to the White Spring, saw the people bathing, the candle lit, the feeling of that place was magic.Next day I went to the Chalice Well, another magic place, so serene and quiet. Then I climbed the Glastonbury Tor, very windy but the view is fantastic. I felt a magical attraction to Glastonbury, even if I didn't know much about it and I am originally from Romania, so not much in common with this place. But for some reasons I felt there like I have been before. This is why I went there few more time now, every time on my own and I love that peace, that special feeling which I only have there. I went to Stonehenge as well, but with so many people around I just couldn't find my inner peace, I didn't resonate with the place.
Glastonbury is definitely the Heart Chakra of the World as you said. Thank you for sharing this special video with us, you are a wonderful person, very spiritual, I have your books and oracle cards, they are special to me.❤️

I went on a retreat to Avalon last year, which I had wanted to do for decades, but the right situation hadn't presented itself until then. We went to The Chalice Well and got to go inside and dip in the White Spring. We also went to Stonehenge (did you see the white chalk horse?) Glastonbury Abbey and Avesbury among other places in Glastonbury. We did many ceremonies, yoga, journaling etc. It is an experience I will never forget either! You have to go when the Lady of Avalon calls :)

I feel I definitely recognize that resonance you're speaking of with your contrasting experience between Glastonbury and Stonehenge. Your time in Glastonbury was more intimate (I'm not referring to the dress policy lol). That kind of spiritual intimacy has the opportunity to reach a very deep place within one's being. Your experience there sounds utterly magical. The kind I've always been meant to explore.

In 2018 I went for the first time to experience the magical energy of Glastonbury, Stonehenge and so much more. I was absolutely drawn by the Abbey, the White Spring, the Chalice Well and Tor. It was quite a hike, but worth the effort. Such an experience I recommend it to everybody who feels the call. Also did the solstice at Stonehenge but during the Summer one in June. Lots of people and no allowance of touching the stones inside the circle. It still was a wonderfull experience for sure. Went back twice since then and looking forward to the trips yet to come. Glastonbury was a complete change to my life back then. The kind that there is no turning back. Thanks for sharing your experience. I loved to watch it, felt like I was there again.

Back in 1999 I went to Glastonbury, Stonehenge. Chalice Well and climbed the Tor. Also sat in Merlin's cave and visited King Arthur's table where the knights of the round table met. It was the most magical experience of my life at that time. Plus my middle name happens to be Magdalene. Thank you Kyle for sharing your experiences with us. I would love to hear more❤❤

Went to Glasto in 2018, so many alignments visiting the white spring, chalice well, the Tor and then onto Stonehenge. Highly recommend Avebury, Silbury Hill and West Kennet Long Barrow.
If you are looking for a guide to help share wisdom and experiences at those locations, I met up with John Flanagan for a 3-day tour. Highly recommend as well as their accommodation in Glasto. So many deep connections made and healing, still feeling the connection to this day. Would return in a heartbeat. ✨💖✨

You are never the same after you have bathed in the White springs. It is so magical. I have done Summer Solstice at Stonehenge a couple of times and there are so many people just drunk or stoned climbing all over the stones. I just feel its disrespectful to the stones, I wouldn't do it again, I felt the hurt and pain for our beautiful stones ...Avebury is completely different on Solstice people are so much nicer and respectful

Yes, I went into Stonehenge about 25 years ago, during a crop circle trip from Vancouver Island, BC, Canada. Dozens of us joined hands, sat down in a circle and meditated, where as one man said "I have touched the sky!" Truly magical and I found a rose quartz heart there. Back then it was common to leave gifts to be discovered and kept by other visitors. And with Rebecca Campbell's week long program in Somerset a few years ago we went up the Tor where I was surprised to smell the ocean, and all the other sacred places like Grandmother Lime Tree. At the Cathedral I heard "Your healing is complete," and never again did I feel sudden and unexpected sadness, grief even whenever I looked at the ruins. I forgot how quiet it is in the Chalice Garden, so thanks for reminding me. We had access to the White Spring and some of us did dip in naked skyclad. A life highlight for sure!

Kyle, thank you for this great video and all the practical tips on visiting Stone Henge. I visited the site in 1992, it wasn't too busy but I was overwhelmed with the whole thing for some reason! I then went with my husband to be a few years later and it had all changed- we were not allowed to touch the stones and while I understood the reasons why it was a bit frustrating to be outside the fence. This was also a trip doubled up with Glastonbury, the Tor and the Chalice Gardens. I found the Chalice gardens very powerful and healing and didn't want to leave.. although I didn't do the skinny dip as this part was closed for restoration. I've since been to Avebury stone circle which had a quite different energy for me. Here I was able to connect with the stones in a peaceful space. 💜🌍 Xxx

I was able to visit Stonehenge and nearby Woodhenge before the barriers, awesome experience! No one else was there, and I mused on how Welsh stones came to be there on the Salisbury plain. I had a very mystical experience on my first visit to Glastonbury's ruined abbey. I saw a place I had seen in my dreams so many times. Now I realize it must have been a past life memory. My husband is from England but didn't travel around it until he brought me over there. I wanted to go to Stonehenge and at that time we were not allowed to touch the stones as it wasn't anywhere near the solstice, but I just sat on the hill and an incredible peace came over me. I had never had that happen before. Then when we went up to the north I wanted to see Hexham Abbey and again I was overcome with emotion in the chapel. Amazing experiences that I will never forget.

Long time ago a trip to scottland - beautiful landscape, met nice people - unfortunatly did not see the stones which would have been great - everybody is always saying this is a really special place of high energy. The only thing did not like that much was it was raining a lot - think that region has many rainy days - but if the sun comes out they have the most beautiful rainbows nearly as beautiful as they are in hawaii.
The energy of nature there is really special - maybe even without that stones
At least many years ago countryside was really beautiful, altough the person I was travelling with did not like it that much - think it was too much adventure for the person - but for me I was feeling save there all the time (did not spend time in the big cities there) It was somehow like coming home altough I am not from scottland and I have never been there before in my life. Like the accent of the scottish people - it was so familiar - it was very easy to unterstand them compared to people who to are talking british english.
Do think travelling there and spending time with nature has an healing effect on people - this is a special part of england - the best part would say.
The food the served in most pubs I did not like that much - there have'nt been many organic food shops, salatbars, biological food restaurants in the past (maybe that changed) But they have that unfortunatly really special tasting carrot cake - it is nearly unpossibel to say no to that cake - we do not have that kind of cakes in other parts of europa. It does taste different - and tryed to bake it, no chance - it did not taste the same.
For anybody who has the chance to travel there - the real good things there are not found in pubs and the alcohol they offer - it is found outside in the nature and beauty of the beautiful region there.
