Calgary is just 1-2 hours away from the Rockies which are some of the best mountains for skiing in the world.
@Kilian Sheehan true, but taxes are higher in BC. Plus we get the stampede every year
@Kilian Sheehan yeah that's really true, I've heard that a tons that people work in Alberta and retire in BC
Facts Wardo!
Yeah the only down part is that is full of albertans:(
To be honest, I will probably spend a few years working and exploring BC and buy a house to start a business in Alberta . The quality of life is better on this end with higher wages , cheaper groceries ( WAY CHEAPER RENT ) and less taxes....cant go wrong. In canmore it would cost me for example $800/month to rent a BEDROOM anand groceries cost roughly $600/month as a single person ... but in Calgary , my rent for a 1 bedroom apartment would be $850 and groceries ( way cheaper in city ) down to $400/month ..... BC is beautiful but it's a shame the wages arent higher and sk much tax ... not worth it long term, but depends on your education + career.
I don’t actually live in Calgary as of yet, but after doing some research I found out that’s it’s considered one of the cleanest cities in the world.
Calgary is the cleanest city in the world
@@tuneunleashed ..All Canadian city's are clean.
It is nice...I'm from Edmonton and love the beauty and cleanliness of Calgary....especially the sun on the city constantly
@@dennismckeown5863 Excuse me but not all!!! Montreal is dirty anywhere you go and the metro as well, like it or not it’s a fact.
Thank you for making a great video like this. Its help the newcomers so much!
Most informative video everyone should watch before moving to Canada. It took lots of efforts make such video. Thank you for this video.
Dude ... must say.. u have made a good effort .. to make a consolidated video .. thnx .. this is really helpful. Tc cheers
I have moved from Toronto to Vancouver and the housing here is definitely expensive than Toronto.
Bhavesh Thakkar having a hard time choosing between Vancouver and Toronto, how would you describe your experience in both cities?
@@aldocamarena995 Hi Aldo, I will list down few high level comparisons between both cities that may help in your decision.
Toronto is more sunny compared to Vancouver in winters but Vancouver winters are way milder. If you can't stand freezing temperatures Vancouver is the place for you but it rains here almost all the time during winters and is gloomy mostly. I feel transit is better in Vancouver. Because of sky train you tend to spend less time on traveling, also because of the fact Vancouver is smaller than Toronto. Transit in Vancouver is slightly cheaper. Both Vancouver and Toronto are close to US so well connected to USA. Toronto would win in terms of connectivity to the rest of the world (not by a big margin though). You cannot compare the scenic beauty and landscape between these two cities as Vancouver is way more beautiful because of it's landscape. It has both mountains and ocean. Both cities are crowded but Toronto will rank higher on the chart. Toronto has more diversity. Vancouver is diverse too but mostly asian population. Toronto is the hub for big events/concerts and might rank higher again. On the other hand Vancouver is called the Hollywood of North. You'll be surprised to know how many Hollywood movies are shot here. In the end both of them are good cities to live in. It depends on the nature of your work and personal preference. I love Vancouver personally because I have lived here longer than Toronto and hence can call it home. Also, west coast is beautiful and I like explore the nature which Vancouver facilitates.
Lol you moved from one hell to another regarding cost of real estate
@@Bhavesht1 What do You think about Montreal for living as an inmigrant?
@@jorgeloo3131 i live here in Montreal atm but looking into moving somewhere else. Main reason due to language unless you know french then Montreal would also be a nice place to consider since it's the cheapest in all aspects among the 4 major cities.
Brilliant video sheetanshu.
Great efforts. Thank you very much indeed.
Thank you for this video....was of great help 👍
FINALLY SOMEONE WHO COMPARED THEM ALL IN ONE VIDEO. THANKS !!!!
Im from Toronto/ON and Im living in Banff now..... cant belive i didnt leave the shitty air, high cost of living and taxes behind sooner....I vote Calgary !!

I live in staff accomodations for my job - I travel Canada this way! Pay under $400/month for a room in a 2 bedroom apartment inclusive with 1 roommate. Otherwise, Banff is WAY too exspensive with a private room normally being $900-$1200/month. Recently I have seen a few for $650-$800 though because of the pandemic . Calgary is amazing for savings and has tons of jobs .
Much needed information.
Thank you❤🧡
Heartful Thanks for the efforts u guys have made. Cheers👍👌👌
Really informative video!! I need more information about calgary. Their PR process everything. Please make a video on that also
Thanks a lot for this video ,,,, Its very useful to me keep uploading.
I dream of someday moving to Canada, and I consider Calgary to be my first choice.
No Ottawa all time best
Explained really well!!
This is such an entertaining video. I enjoyed it while taking this valuable info in
Thanks for this video bro. Very helpful.
Calgary represent! I really like where you went with this video. Very informative. I hope you'll make one that is focused on Calgary. Well done!

Excellent video!! Thanks for sharing it!!!
This video cleared every single query. Thanks
I wouldn’t say rivière des prairies rivers mostly because literally, it would be something like "river of prairies rivers"...not even sure if there is really a translation for rivière des prairies 🤔 maybe prairies river but I’m not even sure about it
This video is a life saver big thanks :-)
Nice video. Can you please make few videos about Saskechwan province. Which city is good to settle there as a PR immigrant, weather, cost of living, job outlook, comparison between Regina and Saskatoon and anything else that you can highlight. Since Saskechwan has been issuing lot of ITA I am sure lot of people will want to know more about the above things. If you can please make some video just like how you make other videos it will be really appreciable. Thanks
the video was really helpful and engaging...very beautifully created ....efforts are highly appretiated
Awesome content as always..!!
Thank you for such. Detailed video
That was an awesome video...thank you.
Thanks. You increased my interest in Montreal. I would need to improve my French, but overall it seems ideal for my priorities.
Me too, i think people prefer speaking in french but almost all of them are bilingual so not a problem.
Montreal is by far the most bilingual among the 4 big cities (if you consider the official languages of Canada). Vancouver is also bilingual, but mostly english and chinese. In Toronto and Calgary, people mostly only speak english to communicate with others, there is no other "dominating" language. Correct me if i'm wrong
If is just respecful to speak french in Montréal . At Rome to as Romans .
@@Abhi-rc9fm you NEED to learn French, people in Montreal take their language very seriously and do not like even like English speaking Canadians. So as a immigrant you must show an even greater effort to be accepted. If not don’t move there
@@thepizzaelf I’m pretty sure most French Canadians have absolutely nothing against English Canadians (even though most of them should for historical reasons). I don’t think most French Canadians would expect a greater effort from immigrants either. I think what most French Canadians expect is a little respect. In a country with two official languages, they expect their leaders to be bilingual (prime minister, governor general, supreme court judges …). In a province where 94,5% of citizens can hold a conversation in French, they expect meetings in their workplace to be held in French. They don’t want to be told how easy it is to be born and live in Montreal all your life and becoming CEO of Air Canada, based in Montreal, without knowing a single word of French.
Need to consider dry vs wet cold, makes a huge difference to the actual feeling of the weather.
Also cloud cover, temperature isn’t everything. Depressing grey and rain in Vancouver
That's so true. As a guy who lived in Calgary before (now Toronto), there is a lot of wind here in Toronto. When it is minus 10 here it is super cold. However, when it is minus 10 in Calgary, you can only wear a jacket. Wet makes things ugly lol
Agreed. The wet cloudy drizzly winters in Vancouver weren’t for me...although it will get colder in Calgary, the sun makes a huge difference. A single chart can’t explain weather in any of these cities, but along with those cold snaps, we also get nice mild “chinooks” in Alberta. The greenery in Vancouver winters though is nice, and I find their summers to be really nice (warm but not hot until you head further east, and lots of sunshine). Calgary summers - just like Winter is a mixed bag, so you have to take the good with the bad.
Best video never before tq dream abroad i have been fallowing sice 2 year and i got more information.. ధన్యవాదములు 💗
As always informative video🙂👍👍👍..keep it up sir ..
Great video. But you missed the biking paths and how easy is it to get around the towns on a bicycle. Thanks.
As for winter, Montreal has the largest complex of an underground city in the world, where you don't have to step outside if you don't want to. Apartment buildings can take you to the underground city where you can walk to work in 24C degree temperature year round. And at night the lights dim. Montreal does have beaches as the water treatment built in 1984 has been returning to the river, cleaner water. And the St Lawrence provides white water rafting and perpetual surfing, as long as you can stand up. Lastly, Montreal's night life and food experience has no equal in Canada. Nightlife is like Las Vegas or NYC, only safer. Just my observation as I have been to all 4 cities, but don't live in any of them.
very informative comment. one of the best on Montreal I've seen on the net so far with information I've never encountered yet. This has led me to choose Montreal without a doubt.
Thanks !
You fail to mention the billions of litres of sewage that was dumped in the sais Lawrence, antibiotics might be essential after a quick dip.
As for the nightlife and culinary delights, the music is often outdated, and there is much better food in Ontario, which is only a question of ratios, more restaurants, more competition, equates
to better food.
Montreal is a corrupt, rude racist, that suffers from severe linguicism and ostrichism in regards to their identity moreover the city is disgustingly dirty, crackhouse filthy.
Worst of all the high incomes taxes, law 101, 21, and soon to be law 96. Quebec is the province with the least freedoms, Stalin would be proud.
@@johnnybelair8433 Montreal is not Quebec, it just happens to be in Quebec. Stick to your Ontario boredom. Experience your Toronto nightlife...until the street lights come on that is. Then roll up your sidewalks and go home.
@@kenp108 Mtl is in Quebec which has to abide by legislation put forth in the province, like law 101, 21, and bill 96, hypocritical much?
As for being bored, I was born and raised in Quebec, and for many reasons, I moved out of that shithole
Have fun, " clubbing" on streets that are littered with garbage and filth, surrounded by unsympathetic, arrogant, rude " pur laine", saying " hey, le gros" every 2 seconds.
I'll take my boredom, and you can keep your delusion.
@@johnnybelair8433 Nice try. Quebec is mostly agricultural and unilingual while Montréal is mostly bilingual and cosmopolitan. They are different. Just like Toronto and Montréal. They are two brothers. One is a party going fun-loving all-nighter and the other is an accountant
Awesome work!!

Well done! Thank you.
Vancouver's Seabus does not go to any islands around Vancouver. It is a passenger ferry that is part of the lower mainland transit system. It ferries foot passengers from downtown Vancouver, across Burrard inlet to North Vancouver and vice versa.
Nice Video....kindly throw some light on Scope of Supply Chain Management/Logistics/Transportation in Calgary & Edmonton....Thanks In Anticipation 👍
Great work👍🏼
Very informative.. Thanks
superb video thank you for information.
Which doddle did you use for this video?
Hey guys just a quick ask if I may please, which would be the best city for overseas registered and/or international student nurses to get settled in Canada??
I wanted to know which city has more opportunities for food manufacturing sector jobs
Nicely explained...👏👏👌🙏
What about health sector jobs? Are they available in all provinces?
Can u please make a video on top 5 warmest city of Canada ?
The C-Train does not qualify as a streetcar as it runs in a dedicated right of way and as a result it's considered as Light Rail. Along 7th Ave downtown where it does run on the street the road is closed to all traffic except transit, city, and emergency vehicles.
I'm pretty sure it should all be disqualified completely seeing as it's such a terrible transit sytem anyways. Unless you live in a super tight proximity to downtown and never need to leave the core, this is NOT the city to take public transit. As a non-driver for 30 years, I can vouch.
What's the best place for Aircraft Maintenance Engineers?
Hi, you forgot to mention the gdp % from the last two. Could you please provide the numbers?
Please give some information regarding health care industry in Vancouver or any other major cities of Canada...
According to Google there are beaches in Calgary too. Sikome Beach which is a public Beach is just 25 mins by car from Downtown Calgary.
Lake Bonivista beach in Calgary is beautiful as well. Calgary does have some beaches, they're just on lakes or rivers.
@@davekuhn9342 Bonavista is a private lake with restricted access, though.
The beaches aren’t sandy tho (they’re just pebbles), so maybe that’s why he didn’t count them?? My backyard back out onto a beach in Calgary, and while it may not be the nicest beach ever, it is beautiful and the easy river access is amazing
@@aamandazittlau5505 sikome is actually a sandy beach, I've been to it when I was younger
Calgarys beaches are rocky unless u get a community membership in one of the newer communities

Could you please put a video on opportunities for Medical professionals (Doctors) ? what are ways and exams to come in as immigrant and get job?
Thanks.
Look up professional immigration on the canadian gov. website. Your profession is very much in demand but you'd certainly have tests to pass depending if your education is recognized.
Thanks for the insight
Glad it was helpful!
Thanks a lot bro 👍👍👍👍
Thanks a lot for such an informative video. Request you to pls make a video abt importance and advantages of French language for getting PR and jobs....
Also it wud b very helpful if u cn tell about which level of French is required.....
I'd say if you are moving or considering on moving to Montreal then french would be an asset for you, other than that French won't really be much of a help in other major cities since English is mostly the spoken language there
Great job 👏
I chuckled a little at the mention that Calgary has no Water Transportation. Pointless to have water transportation when there is no water to tavel on. The Bow and Elbow are mountain streams not rivers on the scale of the St. Lawrence and Fraser. There is no "Shore" as in Vancouver and Toronto. This is not intended as a slight as I am a Calgarian. Just stating the facts.
So true. I was thinking about the same thing. As a guy who lived in Calgary before (now in Toronto), I have to admit that Calgary is way more livable than Toronto. GTA is extremely expensive not only Toronto. Wish I could come back to Calgary now. To increase my mood, I look at Calgary real estate prices on regular basis. Of course Calgary was more expensive in the near past and feel bad for people who bought their homes in 2006 boom. How come a 1 bedroom 1 den condo in Evergreen in 2006 (1 year old condo back then) was sold for 220K but now 150K (maybe not average price but it is possible to find deals these days). That's so unfair especially after seeing people who have been in Canada for only 10 years becoming rich from real estate in Toronto
Also, thank you Justin Trudeau, for rewarding the GTA millennials with unaffordable housing. As well, thank you for selling the country to foreign investors. One day these investors will leave the Toronto and Vancouver, then prices will drop a lot due to extreme supply. Rental units built in Vancouver between 2015 to 2010 exceeds the previous rental units of 15 years but a 2 bedroom apartment in Vancouver is still, somehow minimum 2K per month. Similar stats for Toronto
I am sorry for the long reply. Stay safe! I hope Beltine is still doing good!
Thanks Dream Abroad. What about the Oil & Gas/ Petrochemicals industry/jobs, is it in British Columbia OR Alberta?
Alberta.
@The Syndicate what about Mechanical engineering which provinces is good because I'm planning to do Masters in mechanical engineering.
Montreal is so Safe but my heart is in Toronto and Calgary, i love Calgary because of the nature and my Family live there, i love Toronto because they are so close with Niagara Falls but i don't think i

Ottawa sucks
Can you compare with winnepig city as well ?
So which out of the 4 is best 4 me n my 👪 to live in?
What's the best place for mechanical engineers in canada
It depends what industry you want to go into. Calgary (and Alberta in general) have a lot of jobs for mechanical engineers in the energy sector, while I've found Toronto and surrounding area has more in biomedical, or manufacturing. I don't know much about Montreal or Vancouver as I've never looked for jobs there.
Which city is best for chemical engineering (chemical hub) professional

Where is Winnipeg, Manitoba? why it is not included?
Hi why don't you make videos on Australia immigration now.
I probably vote Montreal, I find Montreal a great city to live in, and overall an amazing city in general!
Also Not that expensive compared to the other cities! Definitely less expensive than some American Cities!!
Also Montreal is very hot and very cold so if you like mixed weather then you should live in Montreal!!

I'm in the HR field! And I really want to move to Montreal, my earlier preference was Ireland! But Canada seems better now! I don't want to live in Toronto nor Vancouver, just because I think living in Mumbai and being part of city life I've had it enough!
Can someone tell me in terms for montreal how's the part time job situation and job opportunities for HR and with basic A1 or A2 levels of French can we survive there? Or getting hands on C2 is preferred.
Also PR in Montreal? Thanks!
I don’t really know the HR field jobs opportunity but multiple major companies have their HQ in Montreal. For the French, it’s better to know a little bit for your personal life. If you work for a big corporation, you will be able to have an English job (there is many in Montreal). A quarter of Montreal is English speaking and everyone know basic English, so don’t be stressed you will be okay even if you don’t speak a lot of French. Hope to see you in my city!!
