Mrs Letlape, While we are at it, Can we give teaching and teachers the respect it deserves. Recognition awards! Some of us are what we are because of a teacher's hard work and inspiration.

I applaud the EFF for it's policy on education. We need good, equal and quality education for all. The current curriculum in government schools must be changed and teaching methodology must be evaluated annually to meet the demands of a changing world. Few black people can afford private schools and many sacrifice financially to take their kids to private schools. Education is a tool to be used to liberate our minds from colonial and slave mentality.

An Uber driver once told me "An unemployed graduate is like parrafin stove that is filled with fuel and its just waiting for the flame to light it up."
Where as, the one who is not a graduate is an empty stove that goes around trying to steal others flames for their own - thinking that it will somehow sustain the flame.

Interesting show. I think there are many issues that she did not cover, on the topic of Research and Development, she was very vague, and probably because of her knowledge on this matter, but also because the presenter himself style of questioning is not properly aligned. Otherwise, oh well.
