For those, you take what you have (300 units per every mL). Since what you need is way below 300 units, the patient will be using a small amount of liquid. Desired units = 35 , 7 Units per mL (strength of Toujeo) = 300 Take what you need (35mL) and divide it by the current strength (300) to get 0.116mL. Note: Solostar Pens are measured as units on the pen itself. Therefore, the patient selects units compared to mL’s prior to injecting the insulin. I hope that helped.
Thank you, I struggle so much with insulin dosing calculations. This literally made it so simple and easy to understand.
Please make more insulin videos! This was very helpful! If you could do ones with the U-100 & U-500 please do so😊
Thank you so much for the breakdown of the units and milliliter. I was really struggling to understand. Very clear and to the point.

I needed help with Touareg 300 U
Solo
Are you referring to Toujeo? If so, what was the prescription written for?
How many milliliters in 35 units and how many in 7 units
For the Toujeo, how many milliliters will you need to measure to deliver 35 units? What about 7 units?

The units and the ml are the same?? Might be a dumb question so the 100 unit’s is how strong it is?? And the 10 ml are?
