Just bought one of these for my t25 conversion thank you ! As you made up my mind lol
No worries, I'm glad it helped! How's the conversion going?
Great video! The Segway Portable PowerStation Cube Series seems like a fantastic addition for outdoor enthusiasts and RV lovers. Its massive capacity, fast recharging, and versatile sockets make it a reliable source of power in any situation. Plus, the waterproof technology ensures it can withstand any adventure. Definitely worth considering for your outdoor gear and home backup power needs. Keep up the great content!
Thanks! That does sound amazing! I'll definitely check that one out, sounds like it could be an upgrade for sure!
i just ordered one about an hour ago, great review.
That's awesome! Glad it helped!
These are going for £155 at the moment from Hampshire generators
That's awesome! Absolute bargain!
Just ordered one for £155 on amazon prime big day deal.
I think that's a fair price for today.
I'm not sure how much I'll use it since I don't have a van, camp etc but as a back up for any potential power cuts, why not.
If I do find that I use it often then maybe it's worth investing in a higher capacity station with solar panels.
Damm that's an absolute bargain!
These portable power stations are more expensive per watt than leisure batteries but you're paying for the convenience.
I'd still prefer leisure batteries as they are cheaper per watt even if you have to buy the inverters, wiring, charging kits etc. They can charge faster from the vehicle alternator and you can always supplement the capacity with more batteries if you wish.
Then again the eco flow river 2 doesn't look too bad to me as you can supplement the capacity by using any old USB C power bank in a pinch. I'd really like a 'time remaining' display on a power station. "44 min to run a induction hob" or "6h to run a string of LED lights" is pretty handy to know.
Right I've gone down a rabbit hole, time to plan a leisure battery build vs power station build for my future van 🤣
Yh that's is true per watt. Like you say it's convenience, but overall still saving money especially if you switch vans.
Completely agree that having a time left on the display would be an absolute game changer.
Has a pure sine wave AC output, which is good for things that don't work well with modified sine wave, like fans. However, a DC fan is a better choice anyway as it wont draw as much power.
I have had some AC power adapters get too warm on modified sine wave outputs like on my previous Jackery 160.
Thanks for the info!
how long does the laptop last?
Quite a few hours!
It’s kind of annoying that it’s so little wattage, not bad for charging phones but it would be nice to be able to boil a kettle or cook on an induction hob. I suppose I’ll just stay at campsites with electric hookup or use gas
Yh I mean you can get them up to like 5,000 watts. All depends what you're going to be using it for. Or where you're gunna be going camping.
If I had a 1kw kettle I’d need to spend around £700 on a battery pack for it 😅 I’m not sure weather a leisure battery has a better output
@@willmillar932 yeah that's a lot hahaha do you have a leisure battery atm?
@@willsvanadventures no, I’m definitely considering a jackery just for the convenience and ill stick with gas for cooking. I’m not 100% sure on the cost of a leasure battery and what I actually need in the first place
can you plug in an extension cord and plug several gadgets?
Hey, I'm not 100% sure to be honest, I've never tried it!
Utter rubbish not a single mark on it seen as you had it 18 month utter lies
Aahah I've used it loads, I just look after everything I own. 😂
