Buddy, you are a flippin' GENIOUS!
FUKN HILARIOUS
I used to think that I was the king of DIY lighting. After seeing your videos, particularly this one, I am merely the crown prince. You are truly the king, Markus, and you make it so enjoyable to follow. Thank you!
Speaking of crazy, did you see this czcams.com/video/JReeO4yr4nQ/video.html
@@MarkusPix No. But I do now. Thanks, Markus. This is of great help. Gotta go. Home Depot calls!
That gave me an idea, screw this light to a ceiling fan.
Flawless sound, flawless photos and very clear and positive explanations. Thank you very much for your work
Every time I go to Lowes or Home Depot for my home, I take a few minutes to look around in the lighting area to see if there is something like that, to see if it could be useful. I have never seen that thing there. But I will be looking for it next time I am there. Another good option to a high position could, of course, be a boom arm. But that would require of heavier/sturdier light stand.
Nice find; another video providing valuable support to the community. 🎉
I love people with passion and resourcefulness.
Thank you for all your help Markus! Watching your video is part of my everyday duties. You rock!
Having the ability to fold that light will also allow mounting it to a fixed bulb socket that is close to a wall. Thanks for sharing your knowledge and talent.
Thanks for sharing more of your brilliance Markus! There's really no one else on CZcams like you.
Wish I could think like this guy, I’d deck my entire home out with so many creations.
Thanks for all the work you do to help us all ❤
This man don't miss
I really appreciate all of this information you share on your findings. I love how you are out there looking for things and adapting things. I do things like that with other kinds of projects unrelated to photography, so I enjoy watching and listening to you doing it related to photography. Many thanks, Markus.
What a great idea 💡
This is brilliant, love the creative approach to such simple lights!
You are absolutely amazing and inspirational...thank you!!!
Love the versatility!
Marcus, Creative Genius!
Yes! I used similar LED shop lights for a project at work. So pleased with them I've put off getting more expensive "pro" versions.
Thank you for doing this for all of us!
clearly being a happy and healthy person will make you look so much younger because sir you are in NO WAY already 60!! lots of love and thanks for the vid!!!

POSITIVELY BRILLIANT! Thank You! Helps A LOT!
Awesome beauty shot setup!
I'm always amazed at the way you end up matching high end gear on a budget. From the RX100's to lighting equipment, this gotta be the most fun, no nonsense, CZcams photography and video channel to this day

Awesome! Thanks! I am going to try one on top of my green screen to fill in the shadows created by the main lights.

Fantastic tips and info as usual 💚 thanks for the reminder on having the key light above people
AMAZING!!!
I found flat led light bulbs "UFO" lights online. Like a diffused spot. They are about 2 bucks each ranging 15 to 100 watts.
Thank you!
Just bought mine today brother! What a money saver for our green screen room.
so happy to see a new video, you explain so complete and it is really fun to see what you come up with. Thanks Markus
Very cute, very useful.
This is so great! I am going to try it for sure! I love your enthusiasm ! Thank you for your energy.!
Love this I am going to get 2 of these lights tomorrow.
Hey Marcus another great video one after another 📸
Hey, just a quick thanks. Thanks for helping to mentor and lookout for all the up and comings.
OMG THANK YOU! I have a little tiny space to do my videos and this was just the answer I needed... god love you for sharing you immense knowledge and experience with us newbies!
Wow, amazing that's a lot of light mounting option. ❤️those Markus.👍👌
Fantastic idea. Thanks very much for sharing your thinking.
Oh and it does a great job don't touch it illuminates enough 🌞
Honestly amazing!
Nice find.
Fantastic!
Love watching your videos, entertaining and informative at the dame time.
Very interesting lights!
Looks great just like YOU!
It's interesting that you mention fluorescent lighting. Since I have a limited budget I have only used this for Led florescent lighting. They also sell Led dimmers for these lights so I can change the brightness. I use them on a stand one on each side vertically with a black velcro padding strip facing the camera. This way I can keep it closer or further from my subject depending on how close I want it to the camera. The dimmers I mount on my ceiling and it lights my puppet stage perfectly. Thanks for sharing.
Now that's what I call bright ideas
I freaking love this. Thank you.
Once again... THANKS MARKUS and CARA! More GOOD STUFF TO KNOW!
thank you for giving me inspiration to get more clutter in my studio!
Look at it this way... a space saving light that doesn't take up space like a soft box gives you more room instead of taking up more room 😃
pretty cool, thanks for showing Markus
YOU ROCK, MARKUS!!!! :D THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR YOUR BRILLIANT IDEAS! THE BEST!!
❤great ideas
Awesome idea.
Very helpful! Thanks so much.
1) One can also use a 1/2 inch wood dowel as a pin - actually just as strong as the metal plate and less visible.
2) I wish those nicely made all-in-one bulb fixtures could pan - which frustrates simple overhead lighting with them. So for that I use a complicated chain: a large clamp (or pin mount), a medium ball head, a small pole clamp, and light fixture. As nice as I can afford. Which is Not cheap! But it works well and looks good where I need the flexibility.
Always enjoy and buy, thanks again. I bought some smaller versions like a like bulb and they
fan out..
This is amazing I love it. I made a large led ring light once using the kitchen under the unit led lights that can be daisy chained, and pvc flexible tube and connectors to make a hexagon shape with adjustable pvc stand worked a treat for my photo studio.
I SEE THE LIGHT...VERY COOL,
Thanks!!!!
Wow thanks for this video!! I have been needing to change my lighting around, and this looks like the perfect solution on a budget!! thank you so much!!
People overlook the importance of proper lighting. This video was really informative
I bookmarked those lights. Those would be great even for music video shapes
Wow that’s awesome
Really great info. Thank you so much for your work. I like your simple direct explanations and examples.
Oh wow
I enjoy your videos, like this one how clever and inventive
Oh Yea 🎉 and it works.
Lighting for Cam very good
That is just cool!
I appreciate the heads up on the light. Will be getting some very soon.
Great ideas!
Omg Markus, thanks a lot for your work. That's what I really needed for so long to get out of the box and use some unexpected workflow, you are really lighting some sparks of creativity! Thank you!
Thank you, you're welcome 😊
Lov to see a tog getting enthusiastic over somrthing they have discovered for cheap and is useful, nice one Markus
Brilliant!
Great model! LOVED THE VIDEO! SUBBED!
If you don't mind 1080p video, that 70D would make some fairly decent videos. I use a 90D as one of my main video cameras and love it. While I won't be getting into your giveaway, I think it's awesome that you help people out with your giveaways and all your photo and video knowledge.
I only do 1080 anyway. Almost all my CZcams stuff
Ingenius. Roger Deakins would be proud! 🙂
The world is your playground and we appreciate you letting us join in the fun. From a lumens standpoint how much light do these emit or more specifically what would your camera settings be so as not to get any motion blur if your model was moving around?
5000 lumens
That would make a great art light too 😊!
You are my hero
i love your videos man. i learn alot and they are funny. please make more
I think any lighting would look awesome with your model Markus.
