@Karim Salem I have to say that this information is incorrect. Nasser did win the war in Yemen as the Kingdom of Yemen was successfully overthrown by the Arab Republic of North Yemen. Nasser lost the war in 1967 because the USA sent aid to the opposition and that was much stronger than the Arab Forces. Egypt did win the 1956 War Politically because Britain eventually left the Suez Canal and plus those were three countries against a single country which was unfair and it isn't possible to win militarily, atleast it won politically which makes sense.

I grew up in a city where there were many more Arabs than Jews and a large part of my childhood friends are of Arab descent. Nasser did win the war in Yemen as the Kingdom of Yemen was successfully overthrown by the Arab Republic of North Yemen.
Nasser lost the war in 1967 because the USA sent aid to the opposition and that was much stronger than the Arab Forces.
Egypt did win the 1956 War Politically because Britain eventually left the Suez Canal and plus those were three countries against a single country which was unfair and it isn't possible to win militarily, atleast it won politically which makes sense.

Egyptians weren't independent but they were the same people speaking the same language and occupying the same land all this time, while modern Israelis haven't lived in this land for over a thousand years until they started coming back from Europe in the very late 1800s and in numbers only in the early 1900s, fleeing from the anti-Semitism in Europe.
