This is what my son is going through right now and it's so hard as a parent watching him struggle and wishing you could help more or make it all go away and give him peace.
If somebody were to ask me how this doesnât have millions upon millions upon millions of views, thereâd be no way I could answer. I donât typically comment or like videos, but I had to for this one. This young man has so much talent. I am truly amazed.
As an autistic that struggles with feeling alone, isolated, sad....this touched the strings of my soul and made me feel seen, heard.....and not the only one fighting the battle against themself.

This song hits so many of us for mostly the same reason. Kieran tells Simon and the other judges that he wrote this as a response to a quite recent bout with depression.
I have depression in my family, luckily I was skipped (maybe?), but these words, these lyrics describe something quite different than depression. This song punches us ALL in the heart when it comes to a break up. Breaking up is probably one of the worst feelings humans can feel. Thank you Kieran for this masterpiece.

I've been listening to this song since I heard you sing it on AGT. Well, this morning, my dog passed. I held her until her last breath and I'm completely broken over it. I started to play this song, and the words have all new meaning for me. I know it was the right thing to do, but it will be some time before I'm at peace with what happened. I don't have kids, no wife, no family near by, and no friends since I'm new to the area. Someone's gotta help me
So sorry for the loss of your precious girl. I went through this in March with our old girl and can relate to this difficult time. The good memories will block out the sadness more and more as each day passes. Still, wishing you well through this difficult time.

I think this song could save lives. So many teenagers when breaking up think their lives are over. Many go into depression and some commit suicide. This song explains what many of us have gone thru and have felt and gives hope that all is not over and life will go on. A beautiful song and lyrics. I listen to this song many times a week. Also here from seeing you on AGT. This song made me feel in a way I haven't felt since being into John Mayer ten years ago. This feels melancholy but there's an undercurrent of hope in the music. It feels alive. This is a song I can put on in the car and listen to as the sun sets on a shit day while my mind's working through things. You have a real gift.
