Sadly it isnt, the item effects reads “restores 50% of the waverider’s health” and thats it! Even newer player’s waveriders have the regen

@@XAVIER242-t9x I could've sworn early on it doesn't have regen on its own and needing the gadget to heal. I guess they changed it for newer player that missed it.
I think you’re right, if I remember correctly the boat needed it to heal in the Golden Apple Archipelago when it was first released. But I think the summer events are always a trial for the next region, so maybe they got a lot of negative feedback and just changed it to auto regen?

The loach pearl can be used in the parametric transformer tho. But there are better items for it and its not necessarily fun to farm 150 loach pearls, so yeah i guess its still pretty useless despite that

The harpastum is very useful for taking down the aeonblight Drake without any bow users
Moosashi has used it for a few different things on his Traveler-san videos. The Drake was of course one of those.

I say -culous locator. But just cuz I'm petty. Crafted too much when I was a new player, and now I have 5+ anemoculous and geoculous locator things in my inventory and I can't even get rid of them
The repair tool came real handy a couple times when trying to fish in that inazuma purple water sunk boat place..
Also if you have Furina you don’t really need the wave-rider in the first place

Loach pearls could possibly be used for future characters that will be released later. they do have to plan for these sort of stuff years in advance.
It was originally supposed to be used as part of the forging recipe for the Warming Bottle, but the idea was scrapped before the recipe released in 1.2

I use the Harpastum at fights where I don't have a bow user to hit weak points, it's pretty useful in those situations
I've surprisingly used it - but literally only for fighting (slowly and painfully) against some ocean hilichurl camps from the Apple archipelago - and also with the special fishing spot with the Electro water and the enemies

Well, It came in really handy when the Waverider was first introduced during that event. So I would still say Loach pearls are the most useless item.
The fact that so many of these comments are talking about things they dont use instead of actually useless items is a little crazy to me. And how has no one mentioned the red ores from Sumeru desert? I could be wrong but I'm pretty sure those have no use, along with the pearls
id say it’s the refinement mats for the fish claymore because i can’t get rid of them and i never got the weapon
nah that new perfume bottle only makes you sparkle, and for only 1 second, thats pretty useless.
When you got Furina, the boat seems useless unless for very rare cases.
The most useless thing is nilous personality and hoyo attempting to give her a split personality to make her character not feel 0 dimensional
The repair tool has worth, it also restores boat stamina. For most of boat trips in Inazuma(hunting those floaters)

I still believe that the most useless items in Genshin are whatever the Archon Quests give us when we finish them, for example the Tainted Blood or the Monolith Fragment.
though they may be useless, I still really like how we get little keepsakes from all our adventures to remember them by. I sometime just open my backpack to read and reread the text beneath it.
I feel like those are gonna serve some purpose close to the end of the main story though.

The birthday cake they give you is the most useless. It looks nice, but I would definitely prefer something like primos, mora, exp books, etc. lol

@@GamestMesa Yeah, I’m just not the biggest fan of fragile resin personally. Resin already can feel like a chore sometimes, so I just end up procrastinating when I get the fragile resin, or I end up forgetting about it entirely. I see why some players would like it for sure, but it’s just not my thing.

Also... uh, what do you even need mora, exp books, etc. for (all of which are SO much easier to get than fragile resin from the free BP alone, plus events, bounties, teapot, etc.) or even Primogems for that matter if you're not levelling up characters? Do you just pull characters and leave them at level 0-20, lol?
Because you would need resin (fragile or otherwise) to farm artefacts for them, level up materials, and yes, even Mora and exp. books. You can do all of that with resin, including fragile resin. In many ways, FR is even rarer than primogems, there's a reason the best advice is to never use any FR you get until AR 45.
Your inability to use resources efficiently or know what fragile resin is for doesn't make it useless.

The harpastum is able to take down not only just normal flying bipedal ruin machines but even drake whos a boss
There was concept for boat upgrades for fontaine but got scrapped after realizing fontaine's map was not suitable or as exciting as Inazuma's islands

There is actually a more useless thing, it's a weapon called Jadefall's Splendor.
Most useless thing is the blue ore we mine to never convert it to weapon enhancement materials since it costs resin..😒
In the worst case you can still throw them into the converter, or convert them to lumber in the teapot.
probably sound cursed but I use them on lazy days to get the bp exp of the day when my condensed resin is full
Ok that waverider repair tool is not entirely useless as you can use it when you're playing as Sorush. I don't know why it works, but apparently the bloomguard Sorush is a waverider???
