I did business with bascom's for many years and they are a great place to do business. Sold them a lot of syrup also through the years I've always said they're like the Home Depot of maple sugaring because if they don't have it you don't need it
Way back when I started doing maple to sell I was looking for jugs I gave them a call to get some, at the time I didn’t have a credit card they said no problem we will send you the jugs we will have a invoice with them and you can send a check to us I thought too myself what a great place to do business with just love them !
Thanks for the video. I'm a small sugar operation in central Massachusetts just at the southern tip of Quabbin Reservoir. I could get my supplies closer to home but I always make the trip to Bascom Maple. I do it for two reasons. I love the drive, it's beautiful area especially in the fall and, the people at Bascom's are friendly and knowledgeable. They're always willing to help and share their experience.
Last year when I was there the south end of the road was closed due to the rain washout, this year the north side road going in north as closed. Nice drive thru the woods though love those back NH roads
@@Wtz-jx3wh lol! That rain that washed out those roads was heavy heavy heavy! I have family in NH and VT and they were telling me all about it there a couple years ago.

It’s a cool place but I noticed there good used equipment is way too close to new cost.
I'm guessing it is because new equipment is backordered over a year. Demand exceeds supply maybe? 🤷♂️
