Great little scooter and great upgrades to it. Very informative on how to do simple wiring. You explain it well for the people who are just figuring it out and those who are novice at wiring. I to use the solder connectors one tip I learned in using them is to pre tin your wires before slipping them in. The extra solder makes it easier for the overall connection to make a super tight connection. I also use a heat shrink sleeve to slide over the connector for extra support. I use a heat shrink sleeve on my spade connectors to, the extra rubber sleeve gives the spade more support and helps seal it too. Well done video, and a great schematic wiring diagram, you explain it well. I gave it a like.
Thanks for the feedback and i hope this inspires others
I love how you have the wire diagrams
Thanks
Sickkk build bro i just recently built one too
Thanks man… so much fun
I have leaned lots from your videos, and am currently working on a 72v go cart.
72V awesome and because
awesome!!
Thanks
Hey can you do a video on ouxi v8 e bike for a upgrate head light? Or if not do you know any upgrate head light for the bike?
I could not find an economical solution for headlight replacement with integrated horn
Hey I'm trying to do a similar build as well and I'm curious if a 48v10ah system might be better for getting up hills and such? Then running a larger motor (like 1000w motor) and some 48v controller. It would probably run me like $150 more though so I'm debating if that'd really be worth it.
I was planning on just building the scooter to zip around my hilly college campus, my original 24v cells went dead and I fried the original controller somehow trying to run with a tool battery so I need to revamp the system anyways lol.
Torque much better with 36V over stock 24V. If your going to upgrade to 48V mind as well go to 2000w motor kit as same price as 1000w motor kit
See video for how to build

@@BRichSolution Do you think the bigger battery will fit under the plastic cover?
Ordering the battery, controller and voltmeter. How long does the battery last on a charge?
Over 60 minutes full throttle
Is that thing legal w/o registration? I know your in Florida but I'm in New Hampshire where the laws are very similar. I told my brother I'd gelp him get an ebike by paying half. I was going to get the Colorway bk29m off road but it seems like $300 is taking him a long time to get for him. So maybe what you did with this scooter could work. I'm trying to get him a moped style ebike because he loves my jansno X50. I mentioned all this because I didn't know if you knew of any moped style/cafe racer that would be in the $500 range with no or really low shipping cost.
Get the tamobyke v20 for $640 amzn.to/3TZw1uz
Would I need to add an inline fuse on the transformer?
Probably not a bad ideas… battery has a BMS so not really needed
The switch light can work with the 36v battery, Mine does! most of the time... Its a little temperamental.
Good to know
What is the biggest voltage battery I can put without changing the controller
40V
hi im looking to upgrade my battery to the same one as yours but I read that lion can catch fire is that true?
Also would I upgrade my motor to a 36 volt 500 watt or a 24 volt 500 watt. And if I do choose to replace it will I run into any issues
Cheap batteries yes. Do not leave batteries on charger overnight either. Use Cao MM battery linked in description below video
How did you wire the volt meter?
See video at 16:07 for schematic how to wire the voltmeter
you for got to install heatsink to cool it down when it get to hot it burn down mortor
I could not find heat sink for that size motor. Motor still going strong when it burns up the i will replace with 500w motor
Someone is selling a "kinda works" Pocket Mod for $100 and I might want to modify it like you did
Should I just go for it? There's a nicer one for $200 but it's not a Razor
get the nicer one for $200
i was thinking buy 1 then upgade but i dont no if this pocket mod have self balanceing are not
No self balancing
It's not a Segway, it's a scooter...
Do we need really need tge step down transformer?
step down transformer if you want LED head light and taillight as they only operate on 12V and battery puts out 36v
@@BRichSolution Aaaaa.. also would the 24volt motor still work on this 36v current?
So I bought the 36v throttle and speed control, got it all hooked up and gave it test on the kick stand, it ran for about 30 seconds but the stock on/off switch was not acting as it should, got it fixed then nothing would turn on, power in no power out anyone have a solution or a place I can find one?
Is the factory switch connected its not obvious how to hook it ip. Try bypassing the on/off switch to isolate that it is the issues
On a second look at this video I am the idiot. I just assumed I could plug in the switch like the old speed control so I just snipped off the plug and added new connectors like the pocket mod’s. Guess I fried the speed control
What motor upgrade should I do?
36V battery with 36V controller and stock motor gets ya to 22mph for $199 investment. Change motor from 250w to 350w probably gets ya to 24 mph. Going to 1800-2000w will get you to 35 mph but you’ll need to a mount and 48v battery and probably cost $450
@BRichSolution I ordered 2 350w motors from Amazon, thanks. Today 1/17/24 my son and I raced. He was on the pocket mod with a 36v battery and a 24v speed controller with the stock 250w motor. I was on my ebike and I took off quicker but he quickly caught up and passed me....I was doing 21mph so he was going about 22,23 mph. My speed was gps.
why wouldnt you just use a switch from a mx 650
Mx650 switch is wider and shorter so i would have to cut the plastics and then make a adapter. Plus i did not have mx650 switch only the controller
Has this burned out your stock motor yet? I would think it would burn that 24v engine after a while.
Still going
Still going strong
Good to know. How does the bellezza model have 36v but says it’s only goes 16mph?
Speed is limited by the controller?
It's 24v not much lower than 36v it will wear out faster if you ride it harder but it should be relatively the same as the mx or even the sx 36v overvolt videos
Youre 35+ dude. Move on.
Yes, built it for kid
