I tried the "first swatch" challenge but with the solid color challenge AND the color randomised, and I ended up with...I'm not sure if you'd call it a yellow suburban, but it's definitely a yellow...something. :P

I like how she keeps saying what she would do in normal circumstances (like placing filler furniture), showing an example (places filler furniture and sees that it fits), deletes it, and says that she can't do that in this challenge.

To be fair, I like this house! Not everything is centred and sterile, and it gives the house a warm human touch!
18:55 It's a teenagers room but the family hasn't renovated it since the teenager was a child.
I would say that you can use every "arrow" once and once it is placed you cannot move it anymore (for the roof and flooring etc)
She should try a No Mistakes, 10 Minute, Black and White Build Challenge. I would literally love to see that!!

I tried the "ten minute build" challenge and couldn't even slap down the OUTSIDE shell in time.
So then I switched to the "ten thousand Simoleons" challenge and did much better at that. I was like, "I'm going to do SOME challenge on this lot before I leave, at least!" :P

Ideas for roofing rules in this challenge :
You say out loud how you plan the roof to look like, then you may drag and drop each asset once :
- length (you may only drag one side since you should have been able to place the other one already on the spot)
- angle
- overhang. If you must shift-detail the sides at different lengths, you must start with the shorter side.
- arching the roof top make it rounder/pointy (yes, after the overhang, I am evil).
- color and trim
Allowed :
- Layering roof pieces if this was your original plan
- flat roofs
- keep the default roof pieces
- adding dormers, chimneys and bumps to cover your mistakes
- any bug workaround
Not allowed :
- Copy/paste roof pieces
- Rotate roof pieces (must be done before placing)
- Changing your mind beteen your plan and the real thing
- Adding un-planned roof pieces to cover a weird gap
Please give feedback !

with the roof pieces, my rules are basically you can adjust it a certain way one time... so once you pick a pitch that's it, but you can still for example extend or shrink the overhang

I just realized that I’ve never been able to rotate my camera in the sims the way Simsie does. How does she rotate so freely?
I know she uses the sims 3 camera a lot, and idk if you use an actual mouse not like a trackpad on a laptop but she has one of those too. I’ve never been able to do it like her either but I only have a laptop and no mouse so maybe thats it?
Yeah I've been playing the sims4 for years and could never make my camera move like the CZcams simmers. It would make my building so much easier 😩
@@kiaralebron2276 @Jessica Cross I found out! If you hit Ctrl on your keyboard and hit the up and down keys it tilts the camera up. If you then use the two < > buttons to turn left and right! I learned from a CZcams video.
In the top right corner, there’s a camera ui button, click that and then select sims 3 camera. You’ll be able to move your camera freely after switching to it.
Looking forward to the renovation, because this house is actually really cute!

Since this happened to me all the time, use the Vaseline LIPS (its looks like a mini tub of normal Vaseline but it’s make specifically for lips) on your lips at bed time, like coat them good.
It helps tremendously with the corner of your mouth cracking!

Helpful tip for small bedrooms, the 'budding blossom' end table from seasons will fit in a 3 wide space either side of a double bed. You have to alt place them but as they are the smallest side tables in the game they will fit
day 3 of asking Kayla to get another cat on the Belle legacy challenge, calling it Taco and putting it in the taco costume

you should do every room is a different townies room challenge, so if you got the goths for the kitchen, you would have to make their kitchen. if you got the pleasant’s bedroom, you have to put one of their rooms down. hope that makes sense!
