Mr. Handy fixing her finger just shows he doesn't really understand things. He has been given new tasks, but they didn't rewrite his entire code. This is a frequent joke in game, about them being repurposed by Wastelanders, for various hilarious things.
Also to bring her up to ‘mint condition” for the organs sales pich
i just figured that they would harvest a kidney and liver then keep her in a fridge and sell her as a slave, where'd they'd get a better price if she had all 10 fingers.
Seeing Marth'a high flight brought me flashbacks, I honestly had forgotten ghouls lunged at you.
The first time I saw that happen ingame, I nearly had a heart attack.
HAHAHA yep! A ghoul can still make me scream when I'm in the middle of a dark subway or some dank decrepit building when I turn a corner and LUNGE
First time I saw ghouls, I took a long distance shot at one in a graveyard. I also almost had a heart attack. 5 of them came out of the woodwork and flew at me and my pipe pistol. It did not end well.
That scene where she steps out of the SD Mart all geared up reminds me when you first roll into Concord in FO4 and switch out your vault jumpsuit for better gear after killing a few raiders.

14:57 I have a theory -- Snip-Snip does not know what time these bodies are going to be harvested. This is indicated by when he floats out, the guys tell him they want her done now to get the next shipment in.
Well, what if they wanted her to wait in the glass? Well, she would need to be 'mint condition', or as close to. So, he just repairs everyone coming in since he doesn't know when the harvest times are.
100% agree. That has to be the case. Very robot logic from his perspective. I loved how casual and polite his tone was even while attempting to harvest her organs. Lol
@@burnbearscomedy Hahaha yes! The audacity and politeness of "no! nothing so barbaric!" to the struggle-snuggle forced-indentured worker (youtube word avoidance...) , and was then "I'm simply going to harvest your organs!" That juxtaposition is amazing and is so Fallout lol
Good point. And even if his owners told him the schedule ahead of time, Snip-Snip has no way of knowing how close the next shipment is, since his temporal sensors are broken.
This is probably my favorite episode, a real spotlight for Ella Purnel.

The thing most people miss about Snip Snip fixing Lucy's finger is that later, you can see freezers full of different body parts. it's implied that they not only sell internal organs, but hands, arms and legs as well.
I just assumed snip snip fixed the finger because he’s mistakenly under the impression that, simply removing her organs, wasn’t something that was going to kill her and she’d be leaving afterwards. Though it seems everyone’s got their own head cannon around this lol.
If your selling a product people look before buying then keeping her looking "well" would increase profit. People eat with their eyes don't they?
I assumed he was a Doctor program that got a shoddy hack job from them stoners
A head cannon isn't practical.

Shes right, they each had a different crop. In episode 1 Moldaver posing as the overseer says "When blight hit our wheat" Its wheat
and it wouldnt be mutated into razorgrain though. its just wheat. really shitty wheat

Even though people think this was a slow, filler episode; it's my favorite! Snip snip was funny as hell. Plus the episode started lucy's character arc and set up the ghoul's arc for the ghoul and Lucy to meet in the middle. Lucy loses her innocent nievette and the ghoul learns to be more human again.

It appears to me that the tri-vault was a breeding program, to create "yes men" type of middle managers. That's why they are all so compliant, and happy go lucky.
My favorite part of watching you two is how she dances with just the top half of her body 😅

Lol a Green Cross in L.A.means there's a weed store I'm from Canada so when we see a green or a blue cross it means that there is a hospital nearby on are weed stores it's just the name or the title of the store

Simple answer guys, organs means more than just internal organs. If a client needs a female hand do you would get more money for a fully fingered hand than one missing a finger. It's like fixing a broken door handle on a car you're going to sell.

You can't pick up a container in the game, even an empty one. I think that's why he puts the vials in his hat. Easter egg, imo. Whether they meant to or not, almost every detail of this show is accurate not just to this game, but open world games in general. They clearly had some game players on staff, at a high level.

My take was they made you healthy first before taking your organs. In this case that included a finger.
Her finger has nothing to do with her organs. the writers probably just couldn't think of a better way for her to regain her finger.
That’s a firm possibility. Painting her finger a bit blue is cheaper than CGing it out all the time

For the record it’s probably a green cross cause I don’t think you’re allowed to use the Red Cross imagery outside of an active war zone. I’ve seen some indie video games who had to make that change cause they were technically violating the Geneva convention by using a Red Cross ha

Just wait, the ghoul gets his redemption in the last episode and will develop in season two I bet. But it starts in the last episode. But I love how we get parts of his pre war history to show how good a man he used to be.

Wow, I'm early. Hey ya'll, how's your Monday going so far?
Speaking of funny height differences, back in community college, me (5'10) and a classmate (4'11) had to perform a scene where we were sisters.
We decided to take advantage of our height difference and have her be the overly domineering sister who is dragging me around like a ragdoll, as she basically evil monolouges with little interjection from me, as I'm unable to get many words out as I'm yanked around.
The rest of the class, including the teacher, couldn't stop laughing the entire time. 😅

@@burnbearscomedy no worries. You’d be surprised how serious they are about it, but there are numerous forms of popular media that have gotten in serious trouble for using a red plus sign as a health indicator. Games like Halo, Doom, and even Fallout have had issues with it in the past
