Hello my friend. It’s time for an update. I really want to get this system, but want to hear your experience.
I want to do one, but I haven't had the time to get it going fully.
I will do one when I get it up and going
The channel name literally made me lol. LOL. Love that. 😂
Thanks for watching.
I'm glad you saw the humor in the name.
Man, I love that greenhouse. The lighting in there is great on camera. I can see lots of videos in here over the years.
Thanks man it's fun in there. Can't wait to you get a greenhouse
That's a serious looking contraption. Love the outtakes.
Most of my videos are outtakes and then I have to cut them out lol
Thanks for the video! I ordered one, and it will arrive this coming Tuesday. I’m looking forward to getting it set up!
Thanks for watching the video. I hope it works out well for you.
Congratulations you are now certified as a master plumber. 🙌 That looks like a great way to grow in winter or a small area indoors 🤔
Lol 😂 thanks it me awhile but figured out which Way water flows . Planning on trying to start the seeds after Christmas.
I got one from ve or sold through walmart,,,,I will use this after I get all counts and measurements as I’m going to use this as a master pattern for future build my own systems from standard size sch 40 pvc. This pipe and fittings are white but that’s the only similarity to pvc. I got it for about 100$ and it came in 2 days….but I found no nutrient info or any how to but I look at it as a hydro class 101 so not swamped by starting from scratch…will see how it goes

This is the link to amzon where I got it. Thanks for watching the video
That looks like a fun project! I wonder if a kit like that could be adapted to an aquaponics system.
I'm sure that it could. would be interesting to see how that would work out. Thanks for watching the video.
I see that this video was almost one year ago, I tried to check for any updates, have you ever used it ? did you make any updates? or what did. you with it? any update will be appreciated
I have plans on using it this fall into winter. But I need to add some heat to my greenhouse because we keep getting to cold for it in the winter. My part of Texas these days are getting a lot colder than usual. Thanks for watching the video. Do you grow a garden or hydroponic garden?
No update on this video yet
Thanks for the quick response, I just started and am learning, so do you recommend it? I bought couple of those hobby style hydroponics:) and I liked how fast they grow, it got my hooked and wanted to try this system or soil with light, so do you recommend that system if my aim is herbs and salad?
@@SamMelik that's exactly what I was going to try to grow. And maybe micro tomatoes. The setups pretty simple to set up. but I don't know if it works real well or not yet. It definitely doesn't come with a bucket for the solution. I don't see why it wouldn't work well though. Definitely needs to be small size plants though. I think people buy this and think that they can grow giant tomato plants in it. I know that the hydroponics bubbler system that I had grew pretty good as well.
How is it holding up
Do you have a follow up video?
@user-ts6rc1gw5u No, I haven't made one yet. I need to figure out a way to make the greenhouse that I have it in stay more constant temperature because I don't think it will grow anything in there or move it to my garage one of the two.
I really do like the setup so far, but I have never fully gotten it planted out yet. I keep planning to, but life has a good way of getting in the way of plans. Thanks for watching the video.
Do you have a video of it working/growing plants?
No I do not, I plan on using it in the fall in my greenhouse. Need cooler temperatures or it would would cook my plants in there.
Thanks for watching the video
any good?
I'll have to let you know if it works well this fall, I'm gonna try to use it.
I really wanted to lest year but things got in the way. I really don't see why it wouldn't. But I can't say either way without actually using it.
Thanks for watching the video.
Did you just snap your system together or did you use pvc glue?
I just snapped it together. But I got busy and haven't even turned it on yet. So I'm not sure if it would leak or not it's not under pressure so I don't think it would leak at all. And my thought process on it was I would like to be able to take it apart and clean it if I needed to. Thanks for watching the video.
Why no update?
Can sage lavender and rosemary be put in these
Hmm never seen or done that.
Would be interesting to try.
Thanks for watching
Hey, any update on this system? Im looking at getting one but want to know first hand if its worth the money or just stick to doing the 3d printed model that i have made
Still haven't fully used this. It seems like a good setup For the price. The haven't found a time the do it yet. You have a 3 d printing model that sounds cool
Any update? Thanks
No not yet I needed to get some kind of reliable heating for my greenhouse in the winter. Ran out of time to do that. I never got the water tank that I needed to do the reservoir. I'm hoping to do that pretty soon. Thanks for watching the video
Don't use these systems. They absolutely dont work. The tubes are too big and dont hold enough water then the plants slow the flow down.
That leaves stuff in the bottom of the pipe and root rot sets in REALLY fast here.
So then. You increase the flow of water and the pos floods 100% of the time unless you lower the flow. It doesn't actually increase the flow even with 10 pumps. You are not going to like cleaning it. Then the legs dont stand right for most setups. And if it tilts it spills a GIANT wave of water out of those holes.
Cause the flow changes and first it floods then it smack fills with weight. And then the worst part is it takes like 10 gallons or maybe 20 for this system. Just to fill up the tubes!!!
Wtf you gonna use bad tap water in ohio? Or get 20 + 10 to have some flowing through. Plus nutrients. Its insane the amount of water you need.
30 gallons.
Or get a bucket. A air pump. And some hoses and you have a hydroponics setup.
Start at a quart. Move up with root size. Buckets are like $10.
Thanks for watching the video. And thanks for the information. Hope you have a great growing season.
You are very mistaken. I use that system with great success. Not sure what you can do wrong, its super easy.
@@JensC919 thank for watching the video. I'm glad to hear that it worked well for you. Hope you're growing season goes well.
