The experience of riding an Avenger in India is not very different from that of the Street 750. (Of course, there's ample power and torque on the 750. But you can't really use it to its full potential in most states of India given our "amazing" road conditions

I own one too, personally like the freedom of having a wider service network, simpler engine, high (very) ride range and lighter weight. I might not bet on 'premium' bikes especially when I'm exploring unknown trails in Uttarakhand :D I guess 220-400CC is the most practical segment for Indian roads at least in current road conditions.

I remember we met on the way to Hyderabad when you were doing the K2K ride probably in the month of September in 2017. You crossed me while I was riding to Hyderabad from Bangalore on my Mahindra Mojo, and then again met when you were departing after having lunch and I was entering the same place to have lunch. If you maintain proper tyre inflation pressure (i. e. 30 PSI & 40 PSI for front & rear tyre respectively) it will not bend so easily. Under-inflated tyre pressure is the main cause for alloy rim bending.

While going on long rides we need to check the tyre pressure constantly. I got it checked at Nagpur Harley Davidson but still the rim got bend maybe the reason may be my speed and the depth of the pothhole.

Hey buddy what about the heating issue you didn't say anything about that I have a Street 750 owner who is selling the bike it's 2016 manufactured & 2017 registered so in 2022 would you suggest I go for a pre-owned Street 750 despite HD leaving from India please do let me know.

First of all Harley Davidson has not left India but street 750 has been discontinued. Street 750 has heating issues in city rides but not at the highways.
2016 model. Doesn't have any abs so the breaking is not that good but if you are getting it for a good price take it..

I can suggest the best bike for you?
RPM Official I would ride about 20 kms a day, apart from weekend outings. Major use will be in city, but would definitely go on the unpaved roads quite often.

How about the heating issue in street 750. One of the main reason because of which many riders stay away from this bike. What's you say on this ?
I totally agree with that... The engine is 750 cc so at low speeds it will have a heating issue but soon as you catch the highway i.e above 60km/hr there isn't..

Is the logo on your bike changed?
Is the service interval 10,000 km?
How much difference is there in the ride quality between the street and rod?There is a huge price difference though.

Rider quality is better in street as compared to street Rod. Ground clearance is better in street Rod but the posture is not that comfortable.

The door to door service is not free even if you are a HOG member... And in B2B traffic this bike heats up a lot .... compared to the left side right tends to heat up most probably exhaust is in right side.... GC is very low and have to be careful in every bumps you cross...... The bike is good otherwise and pretty much easy to ride kind of bike....

RPM Official actually it was otherwise in my case the seven island service center in mumbai told me they will charge 2500 approax for pick up from my work place and drop again post service....

They must be charging in Maharashtra.. but tell me one thing did they service also along with it?
RPM Official nope service charges are extra. Actually I was pretty tied up so couldn’t visit the service center and wanted to get my bike serviced before my ride. Since it is close to my work place I called them if they can pick and drop the bike as I am a HOG member too. But they replied that they can with pick and drop service charges extra. Later I took the bike to service center my self. The guy (Mr Asif) who serviced my bike is very good and the floor manager (Mr Ryan) was very helpful too.
Ohh okk.. so you asked for pick and drop that is why they charged you but incase of accident or the bike is not in working condition they do it for free.. I have been to the dealership on my K2k trip..the dealership is good..
