In this week's video I am doing the colorblind art challenge! This drawing challenge has me select random colors with my screen set to greyscale! I am creating a manga styled illustration in Clip Studio Paint that is inspired by Decora fashion!

I honestly kind of love it. I’m not saying it’s the most beautiful colors, but since they are so wild and no one would ever use them, the uniqueness of the colors and how unexpected they were makes it cool. It definitely helped to lighten the background, it was blending to much with the skin
The pink one is super cute and easier on the eyes so that one is my favorite 💕

I'm actually colorblind and I make art. It's a daily challenge for me honestly and I've learned to rely heavily on names and numbers for my coloring. That being said, I find it interesting to see people trying to make art without the ability to see the colors properly! 👀
That does sound very challenging! That's great you persevere despite the challenge and have found ways that work for you. 💖

I feel like you did it the best way. Lots of artists just choose a few colours from palette and then color their pictures with it while you went with a complete random. I appreciate it 😊

I'd love to see more of these kinds of fashion inspired drawings! Like doing one in a punk style, a Goth style, and one in a Lolita style. I do a lot of these kind of "fashion studies" so that I can try different outfits! It helps by making my characters look more distinct from each other!
I would consider it grayscale rather than colorblind but that doesn't matter much. I love how it turned out! The eyes are lovely ❤

I kinda like it. Like there are little bits of it that I love. Like the undershirt colour and the green/yellow highlights. It weirdly makes sense. And I love the eyes. Red isn’t go to colour unless someone is evil so I like this. And I also love the blue hair.

i’m pretty sure the line art clips very real time speed- i liked that a lot! obviously it’s difficult for short videos but i struggle with making “good” lineart and seeing your drawing process and techniques through the whole video was very helpful!! 😄

I think it looks really cool. I think her matching the background makes it seem like she's a chameleon or that she's starting to fade away which explains why she looks in distress. Either way I think it's cool.

First of all: LOVE the funky colour pallette, it gives a sort of decora or kid core vibes - Also, you should try this challenge again but with a static pattern instead of just a swirled up colour pallette =D!!!
