Skoda Swing MEN2 (MIB2 Entry) hidden service menu

How to enter hidden service mode in Skoda #Swing (MEN2 - MIB2 Entry) Infotainment system to check Software Train details, Main Unit SoftWare version, trigger firmware update, review update history, check supported and installed FEC/SWaP codes. Simply put your finger on the SETUP button for about 4 seconds and the #hidden secret menu will appear. When you are done press the arrow in the upper-right corner or select different #menu with buttons on the side of the screen.
This video was made in Skoda Fabia, but the same or similar unit can be found in other Skoda cars like Rapid, Karoq, Kodiaq...

I have the same system with same supported codes but none is installed and i cannot find smartlink or Bt in the devices as well.
Is there a way to install them on this system?

hej czy w radiu men2_eu_ itd. jest możliwość aktywacji Smartlinka tzn. Androida Auto czy muszę wybrać się do dilera? Czytałem w internecie że raczej nie można ale może kiedyś to robiłeś. Dziękuję za jakąkolwiek odpowiedź. Pozdrawiam

Witaj mr-fix, czy przy pomocy programu VCDS, lub innego oprogramowania na PC-eta można uaktywnić SmartLink/AndroidAuto/CarPlay ? Sprzęt to stacja MIB2 Entry (MEN-2, firmware MEN2_EU_SKGPx_P7381L) Skoda Rapid. Niestety toolbox na tą wersje nie jest dostępny na GitHub. Stacja obsługuje kody FEC/SWaP tych funkcji, ale są nieuaktywnione.

też szukam sposobu, tylko do men2 segpx w ibizie, ale wszędzie piszą, że tylko aso (1350zł...)

Hi, if i dont have androidAuto working on an exact same unit in skoda Rapid ("please contact dealer.."), is it possible to activate afterwards?
In some forums they're telling, it is not worth it to try..
But on yours it is working, so i guess it is possible in some way?

Nice video, I have all 4 supported FEC,SWaP codes installed and have access to Smartlink when pressing the APP button but it only shows Android Auto and Mirror link as options not Apple CarPlay. I have had the car for a week and one day out of the blue it offered me connection to CarPlay and it worked perfectly. Since then it has not connected again. Connecting via USB does not launch CarPlay and Bluetooth connection (with the exception of the one time) only offers normal phone connection and does not launch CarPlay. Pressing the APP button just shows the connect by Android Auto and Mirror link option, CarPlay is not launched. Do you have any suggestions of how I could fix this?

I had the exactly same issue. I wanted to write here, in case someone who has similiar problem can check out. All I had to do to fix this problem was to go to settings- factory reset- smartlink. And after that carplay logo appeared on the screen

Is it possible to unlock certain features via this menu? I've recently installed rear speakers and now would like to activate the fader in my swing radio. The local Skoda dealer said he has no software to unlock this, but I fear they just don't have the required knowledge. So I'm searching for a way to unlock it myself.

If there's CarPlay option enabled, you can use external device connected to the USB port to play videos on the display.

Have you tried "Factory reset"?
I bought a used car, and found no option about "Apple Carplay" when I plugged my phone into the USB.
After "Factory Reset" it found my Apple SE 2022 without any problems.
