- Most trading strategies are seasonal, or require specific economic setups, or look good with theoretical back testing, but never stand up to real-world markets. Why is this so? The reason is they have no definable edge, and they require that you look to the past to predict the future. The fact is, the past cannot predict the future, and without an edge, what the hell are you doing throwing good money into a casino?

Hello Ernie, very interesting concept but at 12:24 you say you use IB and "we don't center it on price but put it out of the money". Why would that be and what is the criteria to pick that out of the money center ? You can actually pick any out the money price but by not centering it on price from the get go , wouldn't this make you start in the red from the get go ?
