Takomo Iron 101T is a refined version of the Iron 101 model. The 101 model was designed to be a hollow-bodied game improvement iron, but after some great feedback, we decided to launch a tour version for the more advanced players. The 101T has thinner topline, less offset, stronger lofts and smaller blade length when compared to its predecessor.
The 101T sits right in the intersection of 301 MB and 101. The 101T offers much more workability without losing too much of the forgiveness. We get a lot of questions from you guys how these irons can fit you specifically. Let's hope this video will give you some answers!

Course management 101: when in between clubs, choose the longer one
I replaced all of my irons with the 101’s (5-PW), and then I replaced all my wedges with the Skyforger’s (48, 52, 56, 60)… seriously guys, I couldn’t be happier.
They’re flat out the sexiest clubs on the course… handicap has continued to come down… they’re simply my favorite set I’ve ever had!

Played my first round with my new 101ts today.....absolutely fantastic irons. Forgiving enough and feels fantastic when you nail one out of the middle.....one happy golfer!!!

Just got my lefty 101s last week! Too cold here but going to AZ next week and bringing my clubs to play my first rounds with them. Can’t wait
Well, I ordered my 101T's, knowing they are back-ordered but willing to wait. I have watched the reviews for well over a year and decided to pull the trigger. Can't wait to take them to the course. $600 versus $12-1500, that was an easy call.
Good review of the 101T irons. Thinking about getting this set. After hitting my new 48* wedge today, I really liked the feel. Going straight too. I’m thinking these clubs you hit are going to have a great feel, and I can use the forgiveness!

Tim this was really fun to watch, and it really shows just how good the Takomo 101T irons are. I would like to speak to you about these irons personally if possible. I have a little club repair business that have been running for 12 years out of my house, but I have a lot of clients from Georgia, Tennessee and Alabama that are always asking me about alternative clubs to suggest other then the normal major brands. They are looking to save money but get good quality and I believe from watching the videos and reading about your product that it may be the product I choose to go with for my customers. I have been using Alpha and KZG for some time, but I myself half been looking to change as well, because the pricing is getting to high for even their products anymore.

The 101s have been getting great reviews and you can’t really beat the price, my irons are 5 years old now and I’m looking to upgrade at he end of this year and the 101s are definitely in the running 👍.
Just got my 101s in a couple months ago and they are awesome. Really enjoy them as a high handicapper and as I’ve been taking lessons they’ve really come alive

Another great video Tim, thanks mate. I'm looking at getting new clubs and not sure what one to go for. I'm 64 and have a handicap of 19. I'm looking to lower that as I play more now as I'm retired. I have never had a club fitting before and not sure what I need. Would you recommend the 101's or 101T's?

I play off 12 so im somewhat of a hacker but im sure they'd improve my game... What do u play off Tim? ... Im thinking Scrath after that little knock but Ive seen some of your other vids lol .. JK 😉✌
I'm playing the 101's right now as I work on my swing. I'll be going 101T once my swing is better and I'm ready to upgrade. Love my 101's that I bought heads only so I could put in DG120 shafts. Soft, forgiving, and long.
JC that’s fantastic - the transition from the 101s to 101T should not be very harsh. Hope the 101 irons help you reach the level you are after.
which model of Takoma is most similar to Titleist T100S in terms of size and shape?
I would like to purchase a set of the Takomo101T with the lightest shaft offered.

So would you suggest the 101s or the 101Ts for a 50 year guy that shoots 81-88? Apex irons are in my bag now.
I think you’d enjoy the 101Ts a lot. They will have more similar lofts to your current set.
I have some 10 year old Taylor made burner plus, would these 101's be an upgrade ?
I would definitely view these as an upgrade. Not that the burners are bad clubs but the 101s are just an all around fantastic iron. - Tim

@@stephenferris7274 Most clubs have been on backorder for months, yet they continue to sell these clubs online. Clubs they clearly don't have. Starting to think they never have stock, but wait for people to buy, save the money, then place an order for the product later. Time they were more transparent before they lose the food faith everyone has put in them.
I ordered 101 T 1” over standard before New Years. They clearly stated 8-12 week lead time. I’m cool. It’s ski season anyway😉
@@36ehack Yeah custom clubs give you an estimate. The issue is the lack of transparency on stock irons. They clearly have had no stock for months but continue to take orders every day. Be up front. Stop letting people buy a product that you don't have, or be clear about when orders will arrive. 'Available on backorder' simply isn't enough to take people's money. My golf season is 12 months long so that is little consolation.
