I remember when I had Bell's Palsy (partial facial paralysis) I lost my sense of taste for 3 months and everything was literally just tasting texture. It's hard to describe, but every single food item had the same sweetness and saltiness as paper. Even water tasted bland! (Can you believe that?) This episode reminds me of that hahaha.
