Same. Growing up, I think I learned a lot of helplessness and lost all confidence in myself for a plethora of reasons. But, now, as a college student, I’m realizing exactly why I am the way that I am, and that there are very viable solutions to my problems and self-confidence issues.
One of those solutions may very well be open mic night.

This might be my favorite compilation. Segura has a great bomb story he told on Rogan with Ari and Bert. Talking about hurricane katrina like a month after it happened

I recently saw Bobby live for the first time. I was scared he would just get naked and the stand up wouldn’t be great since he won’t give us a special. I was dead wrong he’s a master technician and then just offers nudity as icing, legend.
He probably has imposter syndrome….. as in a lot of people who are really good doubt themselves so bad they don’t want to make a permanent record. Sometimes it’s better that way.

There was an opening for Bert a few months ago in Buffalo, this poor kid bombed so bad I genuinely think it’s because he couldn’t have started with a worse topic in a worse area, everyone in the building probably knew someone who died from fentanyl and his response to the silence was unreal, he doubled down walked to the front of the stage turned around and spread his ass and said something along the lines of I usually just boof the fentanyl 💀💀💀
