My van is a 2014 and I bought it new. Chevy doesn't currently have HighTops, but there's places you can have that done. 👍🏻😄🚐
They have glue that will keep the hem in for every. If you had an iron could use iron on tape for a hem.

If you were to patch those shorts what kind of patch, for old times sake, would be your choice, also, when you shorten your new shorts you can use the material you off to patch the old ones. Who is going to care when your out boon docking with no one around for miles.

Oh hun, that's not a bad blowout. Once when I was pregnant and had not transitioned to maternity clothes I bent over and blew out not only my jeans but my undies with it. The mother standing behind me in the store needed oxygen she was laughing so hard. It was embarrassing but funny these days. There was a full moon out that day. Was so glad I wore a long shirt, lol.

If your biggest problem is 'red shorts', I think you may need to check for exhaust fumes coming into the van.
While the rest of us consider Hillary/Trump scenarios, the National Debt (www.usdebtclock.org), health/staying alive concerns and family matters- your major focus is on 'red shorts'.
I get it, not many men wear 'red shorts', especially with very short inseams. These would qualify as short-shorts (or 'Daisy Dukes), which will definitely draw attention to that portion of your anatomy. That may be your goal and is what makes 'red shorts' so important to you.
Either way, check for that exhaust leak.
I think first you need to watch previous videos to get a history of the red shorts, and just above the knee isn't too short. I'm not into the shorts that go down to your ankles, and socks that come up to you knee (unless I'm playing a sport).

Red shorts; a quick history.
I've had them for many years but didn't like wearing them, as I favored my green ones best.
Then one day the green shorts went bad and I started wearing the red shorts, just until I bought something different.
Then came the channel, and me wearing the red shorts. By default of only having two pairs of shorts, the red being the better of the two, I started wearing them all the time, thus becoming associated with me and the channel.
Thus the red shorts crises.
