Autoclaved aerated concrete (AAC) is a lightweight, precast, foam concrete building material suitable for producing concrete masonry unit (CMU) like blocks. Composed of quartz sand, calcined gypsum, lime, cement, water and aluminum powder, AAC products are cured under heat and pressure in an autoclave.
Why AAC block is lightweight?
The AAC Blocks are 3 to 4 times lighter than bricks, 30% lighter than that of concrete which helps in reducing the dead load of the building, thereby allowing construction of taller buildings.

Points to be added, the bottom layer or wall should in solid concrete blocks, damp proof must be done all window and door opening should be done with solid blocks in case of using glue the thickness should not exceed more than 5mm at once height of the wall should not construct more than 1m for 10cm partition walls it’s a good thermal insulator which may reduce the power consumption for air conditioners that’s y it comes under green building concept.

It's due to labour with lack of experience and using Cement paste instead of Block Adhesive paste சகோ... This is main reason for all those cracks
