      @ Massage lymph nodes in neck:
      Massage the front of your neck to help reduce swelling. This massage will move the lymph fluid from your neck to your chest. Place your hand on the front of your neck where you have swelling. Move your hand down your neck towards your collar bone and chest.
      @ Place you hand on your collarbone. Move your hand down toward your underarm. This massage will move the lymph fluid from your neck and chest to your underarm lymph nodes. Gently stretch the skin (not muscles) down your chest and towards your underarm

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  Před 3 lety

      It is complicated and controversial issue.
      The eyeball is thought to have no lymphatic drainage, and the uvea may act as an accessory lymph node. Recently, lymphatic vessels have been discovered in the human uvea.
      Lymphatic-rich tissues: Eyelids, lacrimal glands, conjunctiva, limbus, optic nerve sheath, extraocular muscles, connective tissues of the extraocular muscle cones, choroid (avian eyes)
      Lymphatic-free tissues: Cornea, lens, iris, ciliary body, retina, choroid, sclera
      .
      Love and respect fro Egypt.

      أهلا يا نينا
      الموضوع ليس فيه أي صعوبة والدراسة بالطب ليست سهلة ولكنها تحتاج إلي الاهتمام بالصحة لكي تواكب المجهود المبذول في القراءة والتحصيل.
      @ القراءة الأولي لابد أن تكون بإخلاص وتركيز وفهم لتسهل عليكي المراجعة بعد ذلك.
      @ لا تتركي المواضيع التي قرأتيها لفترة طويلة بدون مراجعة ولكن يمكن النظر إليها بالعين من أسبوع لأسبوع حتي تتذكريها.
      @ اعملي حلقات نقاش ع زميلاتك وزملائك واشرحي لهم ما قرأتيه.
      @ في الوقت الذي لا تقرئي فيه اسمعي الفيديوهات وكرري سماعها (في السيارة وقبل النوم وأثناء الاكل).
      وبالتوفيق أن شاء الله

    Is infrared sauna good for head & neck lymph drainage

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  Před 3 lety +1

      Infrared saunas not only help the lymphatic system target toxins stored in fat cells, they've also been proven to accelerate weight loss, relieve sore muscles and joints, reduce stress and fatigue, improving skin, and a whole lot more.
      Pairing your lymphatic massage session with an infrared sauna session is a great way to maximise the healing benefits as you will sweat out the build up of toxins that were released throughout your lymphatic massage.

    Sorry I'm not so if you my latest question, please ignore if this is a duplicate.
    Does metabolic waste etc drain from brain via CSF and then to the blood and not the lymphatic system? Thank you.

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  Před 3 lety

      Simply, the CSF replaces lymph in the CNS.
      CSF is drained by 3 sources:
      1. Main source: arachnoid villi and granulations to the dural venous sinuses.
      2. Into the lymphatic system through the perineural lymphatics around the cranial and spinal nerve roots and through the perivascular and perisinusoidal lymphatics.
      3. Back to the brain extracellular space through gap junctions between pial cells and between ependymal cells.
      CSF has many functions, among them:
      1. Provides a drainage system for the brain by transferring the waste products from the brain to the blood.
      2. Maintains a homeostatic environment for the CNS through the communication with the brain extracellular space.

    Doc - how can I get rid of my swollen lymph node on my neck

    • @AdelBondok
      @AdelBondok  Před 3 lety

      Dear: you have to see your doctor to find out the cause of the enlargement and if other lymph nodes are enlarged. They may take a biopsy from the lymph node to find the cause.
