Nowadays, just about everything gets checked under the scope. Everything gets a visual check on both sides that is for sure. With these state quarters, I am stating to keep them in tubes so I can separate them then research the error and varieties before scoping them. Some have so many DD's to look for. The coin stuff can become a fulltime job if one isn't careful.

Around 2015 or so working retail in Denver we'd get NEW coin rolls. Don't recall exact date or anything other than quarters. Could see in brand new mint roll progression of an error I was so broke i could only buy out a couple of em. Kept worse looking few, put in pile of collector coins. Guess i should dust em off, see what they are. For some reason there was a lot of pennys 1968-S & 1970-S circulating here. A few 1971-S & 1972-S.

I am very much the novice at looking for certain coins and I enjoy your videos. But I’ve noticed that in each of your videos you always explain the sales prices for something of a nearly uncirculated coin (ms68/69).
Please explain to me how to figure the value of coin’s I find in my change. Or can you take a moment in your videos to provide the average price one could expect to get for the coin your video is about?
For instance...I currently have several of the 2004 Texas quarters as well as those mentioned in some of your other videos. Of course they won’t grade out that highly but a couple of them night reach the threshold to be considered “fine”....maybe a bit more even.
    Thanks...

I have one (Texas) that has Washington with a runny nose and a teardrop running down his cheek.

So, I have this particular quarter (in excellent condition)... along with quite a few of the other coins you've featured. But I am not a coin collector, so I know absolutely nothing about how the grading system works, etc. I simply discovered all these while cleaning out my mother's NYC apartment. Can you perhaps direct me to a video or website where I can educate myself on this topic? Thank you so much

I just found one with an upside down head, or Texas depending on which way you're looking at it lol.

About an hour after I submitted my last comment I just happen to grab a container that I had full of newer quarters in good condition sitting on top as soon as I opened it was a beautiful Texas statehood quarter without any marks that I can see even with a loop should I get it graded
