@@creativedwillHave you tried using it to control Kontakt 7 in/ thru Maschine software while using the Maschine MK3...I know its not compatible with Maschine software though...!!??
@richardburley1552 I have not tried it in Maschine Yet, because I couldn’t get it to show up. The only DAW that it’s fully compatible with right now is Logic I believe. I couldn’t get it to control Kontakt in Cubade right now, but I know these are all things they will fix for the actual release date.
@@creativedwill Okay bro I was just thinking about buying it and try but I guess I'll be patient because I was just about to get the Mk2 S series I already got an Arturia 61 but I wanted to "Komplete" my set up but I definitely don't want to get the older one now...but I still may just by the 49 of both the old series and the new...funds tight but in the future...we're gonna be talking about these like the og's tslk about the roland juno,and other vintage gear from the 80's!!! Everyday my mind changes on the keyboard...I'm trying to hold off until March hopefull updates will have been made!!!
Thanks for your advise...I ordered it for Oct but I am having regrets because I mainly use maschine mk3 but maybe I'll go to fl studio and use komplete 14 inside of fl studio... but if they want me to not use my maschine mk3 and use my kontrol mk3 they should have put pads on it. what do they want me to do....
I spend alot of money on mascine mk3 expansions so I would like to still make beats with it but also use the new midi kontrol mk3...can't loose all your loyal customers to maybe get new ones ...also I have cubase.. so can't wait 4 you to show it working with it when they update it
I definitely feel your concerns. If you have Cubase then stick with that. I plan to show my entire workflow with the Maschine Plus and Kontrol and I personally this it’s a great setup. Probably the best you can get with Maschine and another DAW.
I think it’s dope. Not for me right now. I’m still waiting to afford the MK2.
Hopefully the price of the MK2 come down with the release of this keyboard

Moving from A49 and the Mikro if you had to make a recommendation between S49 Mk2 or Maschine MK3 which one would you recommend
@@gsmith11172 which DAW are you using? I personally would go for the Maschine Mk3 and the M32. You could get both of those for the price of the s49. I would definitely recommend upgrading your Maschine First.

This mk3 keyboard will kinda work am seamkessly co exist with mashine....but not mashine mk3....with mashine mk4...so wait a couple weeks
Hi, I'm curious to see if the MK3 would work (at least to an extent) with my script for the MK2 in Cubase 12, since for now NI hasn't finished yet its integration for Cubase. Would you mind give it a try? It's in the shared-midi-remote section of Steinberg's forum with the title "Komplete Kontrol S-Series MK2 Custom Script".
I can definitely try and see if it works. I created my own little script with the midi remote feature. You are able to map the midi cc on this keyboard. The Transport controls and DAW control works out the gate.
@@creativedwill Cool! Unfortunately I'm not planning to go for a MK3, so I will not be able to create a deep integration for it as I did for the MK2. This is why I'm asking this :) Thank you for your answer!

Its funny how you read all these reviews but when you do a google search you find out all the problems this thing has just getting it setup. But you won't find. a youtube video telling you that part. Shame on you content providers.
How does it work with Studio One
I couldn’t get it work with Studio One. Right now the only DAW that it’s fully compatible with is Logic.
Lose the background jazz music.
Overpriced midi keyboard. A downgrade, and it doesn’t even work in their own ‘daw’ maschine.
