When your therapist tells you they are posessed it is time for a different therapist . Instead you took her home and your wife decided to become her bedroom buddy ???

Look into all the men who’ve been controlled by Jodi. This happened a lot unfortunately.
One of Jodi's other patients (I think his last name is Steed) tried to find another therapist and she called all the other therapists in the area and told lies about him to ensure he couldn't go anywhere else, and then she contacted BYU (where he was a student at the time) + his wife + his bishop and lied that he was a pedophile, so he was expelled from university, excommunicated by his church, his wife divorced him, and he lost custody of his children. She is a psychopath.
@Jessssicadanielle Agreed, but the difference is Kevin was complicit in the ab*se of their children with Ruby even before Jodi entered their lives. Ruby was starving their children (amongst other things) while Kevin sat there and went along with whatever she did for years. Jodi just helped to escalate the ab*se even further. To me, they're all guilty. Kevin should not have custody, and Ruby's parental rights should be terminated. Hell, I'm good with Kevin's parental rights being terminated as well. If I were in Kevin's position, I would've hired a lawyer and fought to see my children instead of not seeing them or talking to them for over a year! This whole case is infuriating! He is still making excuses for Ruby in these interviews. He's dismissing the excessive discipline and cruelty towards his children by downplaying what took place. Pam also needs to be carted away to jail. She's another menace!

Kevin had just as much custody as Ruby over his kids. He owned the house with Ruby. He had a job and access to money. He could have gotten the kids out. They were being tortured and in captivity that started while he was still in the home. Kevin chose to be passive and ignore red flags. Those kids never had a chance. Thank God the 12 year old was able to save his family.
For him, for Ruby, the cult they belong to is more important.
If you pay attention, neither Kevin or Ruby in her journals talk about the true teachings of Christ: mercy, love for one another, respect, not abuse or cause harm to kids, respect your wife and your husband, respect your community and avoid scandal (8 passangers videos prove my point, there is nothing there that ressembles Christianity!), she exposed intimate, private moments of the kids for the world to see! What an embarrassing and humiliating moment to expose things like period or a daughter shaving herself? Sleeping? He never criticised that! Never ever! Horrific!
You don't see them teaching the kids Christian values or the beauty and need of prayer for the spirit, it is always only duties! Children can't eat, play, drink water without allowance! Have you seen what she said? "That it's my house, my kitchen not their house", as if the kids didn't belong there!
Truly: there is absolutely nothing Christian about this couple. They belong to a sect and a sect I have experienced with, I have met kids and adults abused by Mormonism.
It is unacceptable what's going on in that cult!

1 month in isolation was so hard for him and yet his precious kids endured 3+ months of pure torture. He had freedom, food, water, regular showers, control etc. ugh makes me want to scream for those kids.
I'm only half way through, but this guy is clearly out of touch with reality. He's basically saying Jodi is possessed but somehow it was a good idea to leave his kids with her and not check on them for a year?
As I get to the end of this interview, I’m frustrated with him and his lack of concern for the condition of R and E, but as you hear his whole story, she pulled the same bs on him that she got Ruby to do to the children.
He was in a state of confusion and isolation, being given contradictory directives, told that the reason he was failing was because of his lack of effort/desire…arbitrarily by Jodi, who thinks she gonna control everyone. Master manipulator, Jodi.
I am starting to think that the lower level of abuse they condoned in their family life was all he expected to be continued. He “trusted” Ruby and it didn’t cross his confused mind that the kids might be similarly being manipulated and abused more than even he could imagine.
Those poor babies. They are genuinely lucky to have made it out of their clutches alive.😢❤
@@dtschuor459 He was endorsing a lot of bad parenting long before Jodi was in the picture. Even after realizing his kids had been starved and physically abused to the point of being hospitalized, he still scoffs at people's concern when his 6 yo is punished for not packing her own lunch, or made to sleep on the bathroom floor after wetting the bed. These were the things Ruby and Kevin were doing before they knew Jodi. Not only did they think it was a reasonable way to treat a child, but they also thought it was fine to put it all on CZcams where her classmates could see it. Kevin still thinks their channel was taken down unfairly. He wanted the money to keep rolling in and thought he and Ruby had a lot to teach other parents. He was not confused, he's just a narcissist.
Kevin was selfish in wanting to salvage his relationship with Ruby rather than looking out for tge well being of his children, whom he doesn't even include in this horrendous narrative. It's all about how bad it was for him.

I think what he was saying was that, in order to get close to his family again, he knew that he had to somehow get back in Jodi's good books, which would get him back in Ruby's good books, which would give him access to his children again. COULD he have just rocked up one day, packed them all into his car and driven them away? Sure!! But I believe the fear and confusion in his mind from being brainwashed for so long by Jodi meant that he didn't even realise it was possible 💔 I'm basing this on all the other accounts from men since Ruby and Jodi's arrest, telling almost identical stories of how Jodi busted into their lives and separated husbands from their wives and fathers from their children. She's an absolute psychopath who somehow manages to have total control over everyone she comes into contact with. Her own daughter said "I can't spend any time with Mom any more, because if she told me the sky was yellow I'd believe it" .......the level of control is terrifying 😳

@@bkangBut at the end of the day if he didn’t prioritize his wife over his children ( which he has very clearly shown is the case) and taken them away from a dangerous situation none of the horrific events from the last year would have happened to his kids. Utah is an automatic 50/50 custody state, as long as the kids aren’t in danger with one of the parents it’s equal custody. So at the very least he could’ve had 50% custody just by filing the documents and went for full custody once he noticed anything showing ab*se with those kids. I understand the manipulation but it’s no excuse for not being a parent and protecting your kids if they are your priority. He may not have participated in what happened that last year
but it doesn’t make him innocent and he was there for the years of ab*se towards the kids prior to him being kicked out and the ab*se escalating.
@bkang Long before these two met Jodi, he and his wife were abusing their kids. Yes, Ruby was the one discussing the abuse she inflicted on the kids but this creep angrily scoffed at those online who were criticizing what Jodi was doing to the kids, and said they were the ones who had the problem, not he and Ruby.
And remember, Ruby was abusive on camera before they met Jodi but Ruby said that “the actual discipline occurs off camera”.
This guy has never, in the course of this investigation, shown an ounce of concern for his kids. He refused to say that what happened to the kids was abuse.
He refused to talk about how they disciplined the kids before Jodi.
He refused to say who called him to pick up the kids.
He didn’t ask them how his kids were.
He wanted his oldest daughter arrested when he found out she brought some stuff out of the house for the kids, after the arrests.
He was still team Ruby after he knew exactly what had happened and she was in jail, on phone calls.
He is not a good guy.
His whole story was the same day he found out about the kids being abused. The same day that police couldn’t find Julie and Abby. He never asked once can I please see my children in the hospital? Do you have any word where my daughters are? NOTHING! Not one question about his children. Not one. He went right into his story to cover his and Ruby’s a$$. Oh btw. I want my oldest daughter arrested.
This interview was mid September. I think Kevin realized what a fool he had been (still not right) and is cooperating with the authorities. The 1st interview, phone call with ruby, and being upset with Shari, happened within a few hours/ days after the arrest.

Well idk but in initial interview they told him "NO ONE is going to have access to these kids"
So glad Ruby didn't succeed at breaking her son down like she wanted! He still had enough courage to escape and get help for him and his sister. This man knew how crazy Jodi was and he actually let his children live with her!
Sounds to me like Kevin needed to grow some balls and get a backbone and put his foot down with Ruby AND Jodi!! No one would tell me what i could and couldn't do in my own house!!! That's crazy!!

I think it's because he didn't care about his kids. He only had eyes for Ruby and he was a spineless puppet of hers. You can see he only cries because he's going to lose Ruby because she's going to prison. That's the only thing on his mind. If he really loved his kids he would have kept contact with them or at least insisted to.
Hindsight is 20/20. He probably didn’t logically or rationally think that through.
Kevin is a coward and not a father. He could have saved his kids at any moment. I hope he said to Ruby ‘I stand by you & our marriage’ in his first phone call to Ruby while in Purgatory just to get more info and not because he meant it.
I really don’t get how you can let your kids down like this. He doesn’t deserve them and also needs to go to jail. Poor kids, it breaks my heart 😢 they deserved so much better

Please someone explain why Ruby's husband told Ruby on a jail call that he would "keep truth" in the home, with the kids. And Ruby thanked him. I think "Keeping truth" is code for severe child a.b.u.s.e. -- Why is Kevin not being charged and why is he allowed to have contact with the kids?

I think those phone calls were all within the first couple of days of Ruby's arrest. As he says in this video, he fully understands now the level of control Jodi had over all of them. Do I think he's father of the year? No. Do I think Jodi totally did a number on his brain? Yes I do. Look up Adam Paul Steed on the Mormon Stories podcast.....he had the exact same experience with Jodi that these guys had. She lost him his marriage, his children, his job and pretty much his sanity 💔 She is evil 💔

Kevin was in the home when he and Ruby were withholding food from the kids as a punishment. Kevin was also in the home when he and Ruby made one of the sons sleep on a bean bag in the living room for 6-8 months. Kevin is just as guilty.

The LDS CHURCH BISHOPS who recommended, promoted, supported , and funded Jodi Hildebrant and her “therapy services”.should be looked into . Some LDS BISHOPS even gave Jodi a patriarchal blessings of the church.

This is something SO IMPORTANT that people keep missing. Being part of the LDS church primed people to fall into this through their ongoing endorsement of Jodi and the philosophies around 'shelving' concerns regarding faith.
The church didn't promote Jodi. Maybe some individual people who were LDS promoted Jodi but they don't represent the entire global church. And blessings are given to anyone and everyone who asks for a blessing. It isn't an endorsement or a special honor. They are blessings of comfort or healing for those who ask. And bishops are regular people. They make mistakes and are simply doing their best. And they are not high ranking leaders in the entire church like the bishops in the Catholic Church. It is totally different. In the LDS Church bishops are unpaid local Leaders of a specific congregation. They have a separate career besides their church duties, and they serve as bishop for five years. After that they stop and can be asked to be any role in the church like greeter or children's teacher. So the idea that one bishop gave a blessing or recommended Jodi is not the major deal everyone is making it out to be. It's just individual people. It's like blaming all Baptists because a criminal happened to be Baptist
@@lizkt in fact the LDS church in Utah had indeed repeatedly recommended Jodi Hikdebranr for therapy services. The bishops had her on a list of LDS therapists to refer their members to.
The elders and high ranking LDS leaders need to do an investigation in how Hildebrant continued to be recommended even after multiple complaints were made about her
@@SD0224 again, you don't understand what it means by "the church". The LDS Church is a global organization with leadership who represent the entire church. The people who recommended Jodi were local Leaders making local decisions. They do not make decisions for the entire church.
I really really hope he is seeking some non-religious mental health help. And that he is not put as primary caregiver of these poor children. They deserve better.

I definitely believe Pam is involved. When they came to get the girls from her house she literally said they came to clean my house. She said that at least 15 times or more. And I kind of believe Kevin as far as he didn’t want to be involved I just believe it’s a lot deeper than what we truly know if we ever will know the full truth.

About 17 minutes in, Kevin says that Jodi told the women that in 2021 she believed she was being tormented and haunted by shadow figures. And then she spent two or six weeks being cared for by the Hannas. Jodi was off her rocker when she left the Hanna’s. I can’t believe no one called 911 right there and then.

@@truthfullyme7416 if you listen to more of the interview, it sounds like she had a poltergeist (kind of a physical manifestation of deep emotional turmoil). It also sounds like she was going into dissociative trances or having some kind of altered consciousness event on a daily basis. In any case, they needed to get her out of their house and have her hospitalized even if it was against her will. She was a danger to herself and others. I can’t believe no one else saw that.
So literally thousands of people told them they were crossing the line with the kids. They pick this one manipulative women to listen to instead?
She was recommended by their church. Unfortunately when you’re deep in controlling religions you listen to those in positions of power. I don’t fully get it tbh because I could never be this way.
@@Jessssicadanielle a list of LDS that work that job is different than a recommendation. Some clients looking would rather go to a member cause they know the quirks. Sadly she knew the quirks and used that knowledge to threaten the couples who wanted to stop going. Don’t they no longer have such a list anymore because of things like this? Ironically the few things she would have been allowed to divulge from a session is finding out they were harming children and that is what Jodi did.

I'm only 12 minutes in so far, but my immediate thought is, "Follow the money!" I'm listening to Kevin talk about all these groups, programs, and trips, and I'm thinking, "How much did all of these things cost?" And "Who is making the money off of these things?" Maybe it's addressed later (like I said, I basically just started), but if I was one of the detectives asking questions, I would be asking Kevin how much he paid for these things and WHO did he pay?? WHO was profiting off all of this brainwashing?? The whole thing is almost identical to Scientology. NO spirituality involved at all. Just a big pyramid scheme. And in both cases, it's the children who suffer. ALL of these adults belong in prison for the rest of their lives!! I knew Pam was not innocent, she was far to indignant and uncooperative to be innocent. Those girls were staying with her as slaves and they were also just as scared to speak. I was invited to the Mormon church one time and they told me to pray and ask God if this is his true church. So i did. And he words DEMONS and LYING SPIRITS appeared in my mind 😮. I never had words appear in my mind like that. Ever. That was very concerning to me, so the next morning as i was getting ready to go to their church i asked God to please give me a clear sign if this is the right church or not so i would know for SURE. I don't know why i just didn't trust the words i saw in my mind the first time i prayed. But i went to their church, the sermon was nice, we sang. The singing was awful, no one could sing good lol. But i felt very relaxed and calm, then 20 minutes in my heart started RACING for no reason at all. And i took that as a sign from God to get out of there! I told those who invited me that God gave me a CLEAR SIGN to leave their church. And i left immediately. I read the Bible but i don't go to any church because a lot of these churches don't preach the truth. I believe the Bible but i don't believe in following any religion. There is so much lies and deception
Best thing is start with just the Bible. I also know that my prayer about the same thing was answered.
I believe in the God of Truth. In English language his name YHWH(Hebrew-Aramaic tetragrammaton) translates to Jehovah. Best to try some scholarly research, and may I suggest; praying for guidance from Holy Spirit and for pure Truth, but add, in Jesus' name, for it is only through him as Savior, that we can go to his/our Father in prayer. (Matthew 6:9,10)
I'm so glad I realized that they were full of lies, so I decided against going to their church. Best decision ever made. If you don't feel comfortable with any religion, just basics will help. Hebrews 4:12 has consistently adjusted my perception and given clarity on the way that God communicates to us. Not limited to any one person or group. As long as we're sincere in our requests. I hope you enjoy reading the Bible and continue to find the answers to your prayers.💜

It’s so telling that he first asks if they have the pen papers and his attorney seems to know quite about them too. 1:28 I believe it was his attorney speaking here about them possibly being on computers. And again I’m reminded of when Kevin calls to report a break in & a burglary on September 1st, just a few days before this interview on the 12th, and reportedly wanted to file charges against Shari because A. She wasn’t permitted to be at the house (there’s no legal standing for that). B. His electronics were missing, and he was primarily hard pressed about the electronics he used to journal.
If he hadn’t been at the house in over a year, why the hell would his electronics or journals be there? He was looking for this the whole time. Shari returned the things to the police department the following day, and I would imagine Kevin got them, but perhaps Shari held onto the “pen papers,” or never took them.
I’d even begin to wager that Ruby told Pam to grab them whenever she called & asked Pam to take the two middle kids - where they’re later picked up and visited by LE.
When Pam was questioned by the police about the 2 girls at her house, she acted like Ruby wasn't a really close friend. Apparently she was worried that all her dark secrets would be found out. Well, the cats out of the bag. Everyone knows now that Pam just wasn't a counselor with connections. These ladies are very connected in some dangerous insanity!
