If Eddie had been wearing pants, the scene would only had been half as funny. The implication that Eddie could be wearing only a bathrobe (naked underneath) while emptying his RV's septic tank in a storm drain in freezing weather takes this scene to a whole new level of hilarity.

I love the dynamic between Eddie and Clark. They’re both screw ups, but Eddie just doesn’t care and OWNS it whereas Clark constantly tries to hide his shortcomings and fix everything, but ends up bungling it and making things worse.
And yet Clark is the one who is much more well to do, much better off financially.
Eddie was a war vet with a soft tissue damage head wound. As he had that metal plate. Clark is just a straight up jerk.
