This video was awesome Chris! Those BTS videos are fun to watch but your context and explanation really brought it to another level. Hope you'll do more of the films you've worked on!
Thanks Gavin! Much appreciated
@chrisherr I've been following your videos for a number of years now, and this might be one of my favorites. It's great seeing industry professionals breaking down their work like this, and I'd love to see more content like this in the future!!
I will absolutely try and do some more of this type of thing, thanks for following!
Love your videos so much! Thank you!
thrilled you are back doing these!
this is amazing !! thank you, need more of these
Chris your explanations are on point, I could watch these all day.
thanks for the insight!
More of these! Super interesting
Super cool content, I hope you can do more of this stuff
Love all the content, Chris! Great insight.
Thanks Robert, Love your channel, just subscribed!
Amazingly informative.
Thanks for walking us through your thoughts on all this! Very interesting to see and hear.
I’m just glad you’re still here Nate! Comment king 👑
Awesome stuff bro. Very glad to have stumbled on your channel a while back when I was researching purchasing a movi pro. Glad to have met you on set. Keep bringing on the dope stuff!
Matty is the man. Great that yall got to work together
so cool!
Forget ICG... you had your picture in the LA Times for this movie!
Oh yeah! I forgot about that one 🤦🏻♂️
@@chrisherr One thing that has really impressed me is how long that grip crew has been working together. I met Tana and James and Will back in 1997 on a small movie called The Minus Man, when I was like 22 years old. It's not often you see people work together like that for 25+ years.
nice work Chris! great to see the Misfit Atom still going strong
Thanks! Such a solid matte box!
Great video
Thanks 🙏🏻
Best BTS content on youtube 🤟🏻
7:41 is that the cicada club in dtla? Love that place!
Thank you so much for the great video! How is it to work with Matthew Libatique, what makes him special?
That’d be a whole video in itself. But in short he’s extremely professional and well prepared, he has a detailed mental model of what we’re trying to achieve and he knows why we’re trying to do it. He’s always one step ahead of everyone which definitely gets people to bring their A game.
Thanks for the response Chris, would love to see that video! cheers from Austria
Not sure if I missed you saying this, but in situations where you are gimbal operating with support, would Scott have been on the wheels?
Sometimes yes, it just depends. If it’s really low angle stuff then usually yes, but eye height normal work I generally do single op
