This is a really great demonstration that the real distinguishing feature of high end production isn't the sophisticated toys but the level of expertise of the crew and the time taken to get it right.
I mean still a technocrane is 0.5 mil mate 😅 so its not like you can do it with 1k budget

Really helpful seeing your lighting setup and different angles! The atmosphere light is something I probably need to add to my setup. Got to say, angle 1 might be my favorite!

The first scene reminds of the car chase in The Raid 2. The way they passed the camera through the car to guy dressed as the car seat, then to another person lying outside the car. Crazy work 🔥

Loved this one! I’ve done some small gimbal work for a few short films and lower budget commercial work and I can’t imagine the coordination and core strength it takes to do some of these shots 😂

There was this shot in 'Birds of Prey' when Helena went down a slide followed by one of the bad guys. The camera started in the front then somehow went IN BETWEEN Helena's legs to the rear view revealing her on top of the bad guy. Would've LOVED to see the BTS of how it was done 🔥
That was our DP matty hand holding the camera and literally just sliding down the slide. We also had a custom metal track built into the top of the slide that we rigged a remote head to.

Good series. One note, Chris Herr isn't miked or mixed properly; his audio is much quieter than Matti's. I kept having to adjust the volume depending on who was speaking. Otherwise, great job.

So super cool. And so nice to see that all these amazing effects are created "manually by real people". One question about the bus-through-sequence: How heavy is such a rig in total ?
Probably around 25 lbs, can’t hold it like that for very long.

TBH I unfollowed you and a bunch of other channels that were all doing the exact same reviews of the exact same gear (oh, wait, a new middle tier mirrorless camera!). Then your video with Lawrence Sher popped on my feed, I watched it, and resubbed! I am very thankful for informational and instructive content! I know the reviews pay the bills, but if we (your audience) actually wants to improve our craft we need to worry less about gear and more about everything else! Thank you!
The opening scene in Red Notice is one of the best shots I have ever seen. They did a drone shot to a hand held shot. I don't know how, maybe the camera man grabbed the drone mid air

I really like this series! Just one thing, his audio level was a bit low at times! Apart from that, awesome video!
I am actually trying to build out a shopping cart rig right now. Would love to see a picture of the rig itself. Mind needs to push in the street and really need to smooth out the movement to avoid it looking like a seizure.
I would have loved to know if they shot on a higher frame rate for the second advert? Also how did they not get themselves in the reflection?

As a Dolly grip, I think there should be a good recognition on the trust of the person behind him watching his back non stop and also operating the cranes. It was mentioned but not specifically . Just saying. Very cool stuff tho!

This makes me want to do some of those handoff shots. Man, it must be cool to work with a team of people working together and not against each other. I get SOOO annoyed when I'm asked if shots are possible, "can we do this, is that possible" because it doesn't come from a creative problem solving standpoint but more from an arrogant "make it work, I dunno" vibe.
I understand u a lot, and that's why we have to build a team with people having the same mindset (but actually as a beginner I'm in the same situation as you and it create a lot of arguments all along the project)
