I’ve got to say that people spend far too much of their time watching sports. In some ways it’s a bit of a scam. I never watch my team play, highlights are fine. Olympics, hours everyday? No way, I’m too busy making my own dreams but good luck 🤞

Everyone fails at Chelsea! He wasn't given the time with an almost completely new squad. Did a great job at Brighton.

His friendly PE Teacher act may have worked in the lower divisions of Sweden but he showed at Chelsea that he's not the right man to manage top-class professionals.
Apart from getting a couple of promotions in Sweden, what has he actually achieved in football?
He finished mid-table in his one season at Swansea, who, incidentally, got to the play-offs in the two seasons after he left, his Premier League win percentage at Brighton was very similar to Chris Hughton's and, like Swansea, Brighton were better off without him and he had a nightmare at Chelsea and has been out of work for about 18 months!
Having said that, he's got "FA Man" written all over him and I would be amazed if he didn't get the job, especially as he clearly wants the job and The FA wouldn't have to pay compensation for him.
The Chelsea job would be a headache for any manager with the new owner buying players at will. He was improving Brighton a little bit each season. Had them in 4th by the time he left them.
He doesn't have an illustrious CV but it's better than Southgate's was and he plays a better brand of football.
What does Pardew know??!
