Mosky DTC 4 in 1 Loop Demo

- Long overdue demo of the loop effects switch of this pedal. The loop effects is different from a looper. It sends signal to another pedal or chain of pedal and return it back so you will only have to step on a certain or assign switch. I've used an amp modeller in this demo. But you can experiment on this loop effects by using for example a combination of chorus, autowah and compressor or sustain pedal. By stepping on the loop switch, you'll be able to activate all 3 or 4 effects at one step.

I ordered one of these I hope to get it in a few weeks. I had the Behringers Amp modeler its really good. Its not road worthy tough but is very good at a good price!!! thanks for the demo!

It won't be in Stereo. There is no Stereo signal being produced, your only splitting a mono channel, that is not stereo. Thank you for sharing i have the Red Fox version, i think their virtualy the same.
The output of Mosky is not stereo you’re correct so when I first recorded it using my Native Instrument Guitar Rig Session IO USB interface it came out mono. So what I did was put a splitter on the output and then split the signal on the input of my guitar interface. That solved my problem with the recording.
The red fox I think is new ish. Probably came out after this Mosky 4-in-1
Have tried doing the 4 cable method? Does it work sending the OD and distortion before the preamp of the amplifier and have the delay on the front of the amp?
ian rama really good idea. I havent tried that but I think its not gonna work with this pedal. Because the three pedals are builtin. You cant separate the OD and distortion to plug it on the amp send/return loop and put delay on the front. Thats why I think individual stompbox is a lit better so you can separate each of the pedal and then just buy a footswitch as loop to make a chain of send and return loop
@@vincentryanborres I haven't tried it with mine because I only have a 15watt amp with no efx loop and 2 cables. Hehe but I think the circuitry would be similar to mooer red truck and other compact true-bypass multi effects pedals. I'm not quite sure but I'll open my mosky dtc when I'll have spare time to peek into its circuitry.

Hi. I Am curious about the mooerge100/dtc setup. I am trying to get a similar setup to your worship video. Would you maybe explain how you hooked it up please because for some reason my mooer wont connect to other pedals. Thank you 😊
You can experiment and find out which one will work best. You can try from your guitar going to Mooer GE100 input then out going to input of Mosky DTC then out to amp. Or, just like here on the video where you plug your Mooer GE100 via the loop. Send of Mosky going to input of Mooer then out of Mooer going to Return of Mosky. Remember to activate the footswitch of Mosky so that the Mooer will work. Lastly, you can try from you guitar plugged into Mosky DTC input then out going to the input of Mooer then amp.

Islappada bassmon I think it will work. Such a shame theres no modulation, would be great if there is phaser for your bass.

qezeq yes Im glad to help. And your English is good. I would recommend that you can leave your distortion because the Mosky 4-in-1 already got overdrive and distortion but if its special to you and you really want it then this is the chain that I would suggest starting from your guitar to amp. Start with Compressor/sustainer, Distortion then Mosky 4-in-1 then on the send and return of Mosky put your chorus there. So that your last effects is delay. Hope this helps

Sir bago lang dumating ang order ko mosky dtc bat wala pong effect lumalabas pag pinindot ko na ang (overdrive,dist,loop,delay) nag mumute ang gitara walang sound na lumalabas kng patayin ko naman lahat ang effects tutunog na ang gitar apero walng effects. Patulong po sir huhu 😭
Nem Esto make sure sir na ang guitar input and output to amp is correct. Tapos baka cable or volume control issue. Check your guitar volume pati na rin volume ng effects and amp. D ko rin alam sir kasi d ko nakikita. Hopefully hindi factory defect.
How can I use Mosky DTc pedal along with the other stomp pedal? I have chorus and compressor? Do i need it connect directly to the output of dtc? Or plug in directly to the loop??
Razil Labro you can series them or use the loop send and return. I prefer series like before or after Mosky. If its modulation like chorus it can go in the loop so thatnits in between delay and overdrive.

Razil Labro pwede din yan sir. May effect sya sa tunog kasi kng in between ang chorus ibig sabihin meron ng chorus bago ang delay. Kng after naman sya ang mangyayari nalagyan na ng frequency or tunog or tone ng delay bago pumasok sa chorus at compressor. Magandang experiment din yan sir. Depende sa magustohan mo na tunog. Depende din yan sa guitar and amp mo na gamit. Kaya trial n error lng tayo.

Yes, you can chain pedals but I’m afraid, there’s only one switch allocated. For example you got chorus, compressor and auto wah chained then connected to looper.

Ahngiebee G bale ang loop function ay parang switch sya ng certain pedal or pedal combination. For example may kanta na ang chorus tapos harmoniser at overdrive magkasabay sa bridge ng kanta or as ADLIB so kng individual pedals ka during live gig, aapakan mo yung tatlong pedals ng mabilisan pAra mahabol mo yung kanta. Kaya ang solution ay yung loop. Naka on na yung tatlo mong peda tapos nakakabit sa send and return ng loop para isang apak ng lng sa switch ng loop.

so that loop thing in DTC will not work unless im using auxilliary stuff like that bheringer.
Benjamin Marasigan yes, because it’s a send and return loop. So you need another set of pedal or chain of pedal. Let’s say you really like the sound of Flanger and distortion together. So instead of stepping on those pedals, or even three pedals at once. Just connect it together and turn it all on and plug it to the looper so that your looper will control it. Meaning three pedals in one footswitch.

Benjamin Marasigan bypass is like off. No effects. The GDI is acting like an ordinary DI box.
Can I use wah pedal in the line of sent n return
yes you can. But I think the best option for Wah pedal is before that effects pedal so that any effects will be included after. Because the send/return would mean that your distortion and overdrive will come first before your wahwah. But, there's no rule that you can't do that. It's nice to experiment things around.

Hello Nick, even myself when I was looking to buy this one. Yeah I thought is's a looper but no, it's just an effects loop which normally you can find at the back of a guitar amp or some mixing desk got this fx loop to send and return a signal. Useful for reverb and delay effects.

@@nickhazbun3758 if you want a looper pedal that got other stuff like drum machine, multi effects and amp/cab sim where you can just plug earphones and jam or hook up to a. Iced or PA system during gigs or rehearsals, try the Zoom G1xOn or Zoom G1Four. I got lots of vidz on my playlist. You might like it.
Can you use this for acoustic guitar sir??
christian pagulong i dont think its the best effects for acoustic guitar. I would recommend zoom g1on or Digitech RP55. Because both effects pedal are cheap and got modulation effects which will make your Acoustic guitar sound nice like Chorus, Phaser or Flanger. Also both RP55 and G1On got equaliser and reverb. Those are the ones that you needed for acoustic guitar.

Matibay naman sya kasi hanggang ngayon gamit ko pa din to. Pero marami na kasi din ang nagsilabasan na 4-in-1 DTC merong Ammoon at merong Muslady tapos yung sa akin ay Mosky. Kaya di ako ganun ka-sure. To be honest ang mas ginagamit ko ay ang Zoom G1xOn ko kasi andun na lahat pati ang Wah pedal at pwede sa Battery na option. May Looper at Drum Machine kaya mas madalas kong ginagamit ang Zoom G1xOn. try mo i-compare in terms of price at kng saan ang mas tingin mo magagamit mo.
Can you conect to this pedal a noise supressor?
sc3sar87 yes you can. And you can put it after the Mosky pedal so it will suppress all the noise.

sc3sar87 yes it does affect even the sustain of your effects so it’s a bit tricky. Another way to make your effects pedal quiet is instead of noise gate, go for wireless guitar system.

Ang gamit ko sir na adaptor nabili ko to sa ebay na naka Daisy Chain para isang daptor lng at pwede ko ikabit yung zoom g1xon ko at saka behringer GDi21 amp sim. 9V tapos 2amp. Minsan naman gamit ko ang roland ko na adaptor na di naka Daisy Chain, single adaptor lng sya: 9v 1.0 amp
