How To Install & Setup Windows XP In UTM

This video is a guide on how to set up Windows XP by using a specific hardware configuration in UTM. It's recommended that if you have a physical copy of Windows XP that make into a .ISO file to use it in UTM and for a faster installation compared to installing from using your typical CD-Rom drive. Once you get the drivers fully installed and Windows XP fully activated, make sure run Legacy Update to obtain all of the security updates for Windows XP including Internet Explorer 8. Because you will need upgrade Internet Explorer 6 to Internet Explorer 8 in order to download a third-party browser.

This is very interesting. Considering what you mentioned in the description, do you prefer to purchase physical releases of Windows operating systems, or download ISO images of them from the Internet safely, or even both?

I prefer using an .ISO because for a faster installation process, even though I would use a psychical genuine copy although unfortunately not many computers have a CD drive I would have make to an .ISO file to use it.

Can you install Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media Player 11?

Yes. Internet Explorer 8 and Windows Media Player 11 will install with no problems in Windows XP.

Yes. You'll need both SP3 and IE8 to be installed in order to install Supermium and for it to work properly.

@@DuranMedine But Supermium requires Windows XP SP1 or higher and Windows Server 2003 RTM or higher the browser itself. And the installer requires Windows XP SP2 or higher and Windows Server 2003 SP1 or higher.
